How the Bad Boys Got Their Name

DetroitBadBoys.com has a link to an interesting story in the Detroit Free Press today outlining the birth of the “Bad Boys” nickname. The nickname A) came directly from the NBA and B) was originally born out of Detroit’s rivalry with Larry Bird’s Celtics.

    as a pistons fan, i remember those series.
    and that explains why the pistons walked off the court when losing to chicago.
