Pistons 94, Celtics 75: Instant Analysis

Why the Pistons Won: In what was an ugly game, Detroit was just tougher. They made tough shots when they had too and their D was stifling for most of the game. They shot more than 48% from the floor, despite poor shooting nights from Chauncey and Tayshaun (both 3-12 for the game).

Why the Celtics Lost: Their shooting was abysmal. Boston shot just 31% from the field, and went just 1-9 from three. That’s not going to win you many games in the NBA, let alone a playoff game on the road in Detroit.

    what is happening to billups??? hmmm maybe he is declining even if this pistons team wins the championship joe d needs to break up this team if they dont want to suffer the fate of the miami heat

    damn that was a hard game to watch. celts get within 5, then someone pulls up for jumper when they’re strugglin from the field. detroit deserved that one. how u goin to leave mcdyess open so many times?

    because if you leave anyone else open they’ll go for 30+, except Billups…good to see the Pistons get a lil rhythm from everyone at the end in garbage time…
