Whether ya like him or not, Horry has an uncanny ability to be in the right place at the right time. On the right team, right spot on the floor, makes the right play. Except for letting Tyson get that oop last night.

like the AI/melo “experiment” a labron wade combo would be ugly, they both have to have the ball and dominate (more then the 2 from denver) the knicks would win some games but i dont see it being a good match and one or both would be complaining (i see labron as the whinner when he doesnt get the ball from wade)

Chuck is right, Boozer has to step it up. I’m saying if they played 100 times Utah would win 55 of those and NO would win the other 45. As far as the LA series it’s all about Kobe’s physical condition, not his mental state because he’s as strong mentally as anyone in the league.

Utah matches up well with Detroit regardless of whether it’s playoffs or reg. season. If the Jazz can outlast the Rox, Lakers, Hornets, then I don’t see that Detroit brings anything tougher to the table than they’ve already faced. The Jazz are more athletic and better offensively and if their defense is good enough to get through TMac, Kobe, and CP, I don’t see that as a problem stopping the Pistons juggernaut.

And the road record by then will be irrelevant since they will have won all of their series without the home court.

Gee….lots of things can change it. Kobe is easily capable of winning the game himself if he’s healthy enough to do it. I’m not questioning Kobe’s heart/determination/willpower but if his body can’t jump there isn’t much his mind can do to change that.
Lots of my reasoning behind the Jazz being successful is on DWill and his ability to continue to play outstanding. I’m not a stat guy but if you looked at his level of play through the playoffs both this season and last season he seems to be a pretty safe bet to perform at a winning level if his teammates also show up.
There is always the chance someone goes off (West) but the odds of that happening aren’t as good as the odds that he won’t have another game like that. Boozer did the same thing last year against Houston, now look at what we’re saying about him.

2nd, ain’t no way in h*ll Utah beats detroit in a 7 game series, you are trying to use the regular season stats to configure winning percentages for playoffs, and there are just too many intangibles to do that!
Who predicted Atlanta would take Boston 7 games? Do you know what Atlanta’s regular season record was against Boston?
Your percentages are also fan percentages, it’s too biased to be relevant. Plus Boozer would have to step up for Utah to even THINK about winning a western conference championship, the way boozer is looking right now, West would eat dude for lunch, Tim would eat dude for lunch too. Chnadler would be dunkin all over Memo, and trust CP3 wouldn’t be overmatched with the confidence level he has now going against Williams, I can believe you proposed those asinine percentages.
