That piece was ridiculous. I saw it live and had to turn it before I puked. KG even looked uncomfortable. Why all the love anyway? He hasn’t even won anything yet or even completed his first fucking season! Can’t we wait a couple years or at least one championship for this kind of weak ass fluff piece? Typical Boston bullshit though. You know they loved that crap.

Bill Russell loves basketball. If I were a Hall of Fame basketball player getting on in his years, and I found a young, talented ball player that shared the same passion for the game I had, it’d probably make me teary-eyed and nostalgic for my glory years, too.

But somebody needs to tell Bill Russell the Lakers are gonna crush KG’s dreams.

Also, Battier > Bowen. Battier placed higher in the defensive player of the year voting, how does he get 2nd team behind Bowen? Don’t get it.

gee i agree bowen and shane are pretty close, bowen has mor of a rep as a stopper then shane does and considering the coaches vote, i think it is mre on rep then game

Whats wrong with one great speaking admirably to another?
Bill Russel is one of the most down to earth, level headed people to ever lace em up and be called great. He has a genuine moment with a player that he admires and you would think by your response they were doing a remake of brokeback mountain.
Get over yourselves!
