doc are you serious?Have you resorted to insults that’s usually a sign that you don’t even believe your own lies.I don’t know you like that so I wont began a verbal onslaught on what type of dude I think you are based on that statement.Moving on,in response to that question I do watch basketball,I played collegiate basketball,I got Laker season tickets and I have every NBA channel, I watch all the games and I know the game pretty well.Kobe has never got locked up by anyone,especially Lebron and even if that were the case if your hanging your hat on Lebron locking Kobe up for 2 quarters not 2 games but 2 quarters your really reaching my man,I watched both games Kobe played against the Cavs,the first game they played in cleveland Kobe had a strained groin and the second game in LA Kobe had a tough shooting which he has every blue moon,and your boy LeBron can definitely I definitely identify with that didn’t he break like a 50 year old record for lowest shooting percentage in a series?Kobe would never disappear for 4 games in a playoff series he steps it up another level which why he is the best player in L and has been for a while.I’m not on Kobe like that I just know dude is the best player in the L and I know LeBron never locked him up,put it like this the guy your arguing for(Lebron)thinks Kobe is best player in the L and he’s went on record several times saying this so if it’s anyone on Kobe’s sacks it’s the coward your arguing for.Holla back you mental midget,and stop throwing trash against the wall and expecting it to stick.

lebron = overrated. he is SUPPOSED to be a good defender, considering his mixture of atletism and gifted body, but he’s only good when he cares to be, which is fucking rare
and about lebron making KG his bitch…. ya… sure… ‘the king’ is having the worst FG % series of any ’superstar’ ever, that is definately making KG his bitch, isnt it?

LeBron isn’t a top 20 defensive player. LeBron isn’t close to Kobe’s level on either ends of the court. And to that effect, neither is Kobe to the GOAT. Get it straight, people.

all this “best defender” talk is ridiculous in itself; what defines a good defender? someone who’s good at one-on-one situations? how do you evaluate bowen, he’s got duncan and drob protecting rim so he can play up on his man his entire career? how do you evaluate shaq, he’s a good one-on-one defender, but he is the worst pick-n-roll defender of all time because he doesn’t want the little guy to drive by him, so he never shows off the pick. Mutombo got raped by shaq because his coach believed in his abilities and didn’t want to double, does that make him a bad defender?

All of this is ridiculous; if you had a system where you slow down the game and try to execute, you’d likely have set situations where the rest of the defense can react to mistakes, anyone would look like a solid defender in that case. If you just run like the nuggets, even camby has a hard time looking good because the other guys are scoring 120 points. It all depends on the system.

r u serious man, i would be in the league if i was commited too!that statement is ridiculous and Doc that statement about Lebron locking Kobe up for 2 quarters is absurd,Kobe has rare periods in time when his shot is off haven’t u learned nobody can lock kobe up,ask Doug Christie,Ruben Patterson(aka the Kobe Stopper),Raja Bell,Shawn Marion,Bruce Bowen,Ron Artest,Andrei Kirelenko,whoever they run at this cat gets scorched,even Lebron knows this.Better luck next time DOC.
