The only reason that I would want Detroit San An in the finals is cause it would piss off Stern. Man is the evil empire.

I like the NBA more than I hate Stern, so LA/Boston!!!

Gee,
why you gotta clown Young like that? I agree with you that Detroit needs to be more aggressive and more physical with Boston, especially Pierce and Garnett. KG has been acting like he's allergic to the paint in the playoffs, and Detroit needs to attack that. Pierce is too tough to back off of (ex: Cleveland game 7)so you gotta be physical and try to wear him down. I diasgree with wanting Boston to win. I think if we ended up with another Pistons/Spurs finals, David Stern would lock himself in his office and punch himself in the groin repeatedly.

Kudabeen,
I'm a Pistons fan, Chauncey's included. C bizzle was a nickname I've always had. I read exactly what you said, it's just that the Pistons are too good for the Celts to beat in 5 under any cirumstances. I don't think Detroit is going to sweep the next four. The two teams are too evenly matched. I just see Detroit getting it done. In order to apply that 2-0 stat, Boston's gotta win game two, don't get ahead yourself. I like KG and want to see him get a ring too, but he's playing my hometown squad. Maybe next year. I agree with you on Amir, but I think he's just a casualty of rotations being shortened in the playoffs. You'll see him next year.

@cbizzle (Chauncey Billiups fan?

That Celts in 5 prediction came with conditions, but I know reading comprehension is lacking in our public schools, so I'll let it slide...

Detroit is going to "sweep" the next 4? Really? I guess we'll see. What's the stat about the teams that go up 2-0 in a series typically win the series? Was it in the 80+ percentile?

I just want to see good games and see if KG can shake some of the haters off with bigger more consistent performances...But I want to see a Joe Dumars constructed team succeed as well, much respect for that man and the way he evaluates talent.

What happen to Amir Johnson? Thought he was going to get more burn in these playoffs...

Billups needs to attack Rondo. He can't guard him, even with a gimpy hamstring. Attack the weaknesses in that D, primarily Rondo and Allen, and Perkins to some extent.

Detroit nearly won? They lost by 9 after an uncontested 3 at the final buzzer.
