Mexico City Kicks


One of our friends came across these kicks while traveling through Mexico City. The bead work has been done by Mapuche Indians and the kicks cost $2,000 a pair.

    Los mapuches son chilenos. Son de la zona centro sur del país. Los autóctonos que van quedando viven en pequeñas comunidades rurales, manteniendo sus tradiciones. Muchos se han volcado a la vida urbana. No tienen ningún tipo de representación politica. Suelen ser vistos como una raza omprimida a lo largo del tiempo.

    No tengo idea que tengan que ver con Mexico. Desconozco si hay otra raza alla que sea denominado Mapuche.
