@Myrie I would definetly love for that trade to happen plus J Rich would bring that much needed excitement the Pistons need. But Rip and Billups have already stated they’re like brothers so if one goes I think the other would definetly leave.

Horry needs to call it quits, but for some reason I feel like he still waiting on another moment in time and then leave. I doubt it will happen again, he should bow out gracefully.

It’s pretty clear that the Detroit Pistons need to make some changes; albeit minor ones.
But here is a major shakeup….let me know what you think of this scenario that is being talked about:

Pistons trade Richard Hamilton and Rasheed Wallace to Charlotte Bobcats for Emeka Okafur and Jason Richardson?

For Charlotte:
Larry Brown is in town to coach kids…but Michael Jordan needs to put a winner on the court. Its been long enough in Charlotte and that ‘building thru the draft’ shit hasn’t worked for them. They need to add some vets that LB would like; and he coached Rip and ‘Sheed to a chip in 2004.

For Detroit:
They get their new perimeter offensive player in Jason Richardson. He will still give you the same points rip gives, and he’s younger with more athleticism. Pistons still pick up Okafor; a low post defensive presence. Emeka Okafor, coupled with Amir Johnson, Jason Maxiell, Antonio McDyess still gives Detroit and solid frontline into their future—they don’t have much of a future right now.

Starting lineups could look like this:

BOBCATS
Raymond Felton
Richard Hamilton
Gerald Wallace
Rasheed Wallace
Nazr Mohammed

PISTONS
Chauncey Billups
Jason Richadson
Tayshaun Prince
Antonio McDyess
