Top 2009 Shooting Guards

Recently we showed you HighSchoolHoop.com‘s rankings of the top point guards in the 2009 senior class. Today on HSH you can check out our list of the nation’s top shooting guards. To no surprise, the top dog is Lance Stephenson of Coney Island’s Lincoln H.S. (alma mater of Steph and Bassy), who is quite possibly the best player in the nation, period. Following him on the list are the likes of Florida’s Kenny Boynton, Oklahoma’s Xavier Henry and New Jersey’s Dominic Cheek. How good is Stephenson? One of our HSH readers swears the 17-year-old is better than Dwyane Wade, T-Mac and Joe Johnson RIGHT NOW.

   Lance is good..but cmon better than T-mac? what the heezy. I’ve seen him on bornready.tv and he isn’t a freakish athlete. He barely gets up on his dunks..but this is what im judging from the bornready clips.

   Seen him play…… it wasnt that exciting. Hes the best player talent wise on a great team. And honestly they hide him in the zone on defense and he knocks down the open shot his team creates for him. Not the other way around.
