Celts Fan says:
So every weekday is right in the middle of work for us on the East Coast or in the middle of the night for the rest of us in the US. that’s convenient… Can’t wait for the next Olympics in this half of the world so I don’t develop insomnia watching it.

Celts Fan says:
The Olympics itself doesn’t start til 8/8, right? So is this just the tune-ups? Am I completely wrong and just making things up?

I wonder if the games that are showing online, if those will be recorded so that we can watch them at a later time. If not, someone out there needs to develop that idea, run with it and make bank (ahum, DIME!).

Celts Fan says:
@SBuckets, they’ve been showing lots of Summer League games (I think I’m one of about 3 people that has actually watched some of them) and some lead-up to the Olympics stuff.

Jonny Drama says:
@Celts Fan
I’m pretty sure these are the exhibition games and NOT the actual tournament. The following site shows the actual games starting on August 10th.

@Rodnets, we saw it, fixed the problems, and are back to remind the world that we run this shit. Enjoy your soccer medals, basketball is ours.

@Celts Fan
Beijing and East Coast are 11 or 12 hours apart.
July 25th, 2008 at 2:52 pm
Celts Fan says:
@Jonny Drama, just did what I shoulda done earlier and Google’d it. Beijing’s 13 hours ahead of the east coast.
@Mox, I have DVR, but you know as well as I do that all sports are better watched live instead of a replay, and I’ll inevitably hear what happened before I watch it. For the actual Olympics, I’m watching live, propping up Starbucks sagging profits to avoid unemployment, and probably developing a facial tick from the lack of sleep.
