@Truth -- They already tried that idea with Dennis Miller on Monday Night Football. Didn't go so well.

Good riddance...he is a homer for the ACC, an annoying prick who always trys to put the spotlight on himself.

Now if they would just get rid of Jim Nantz too we would all be better off...

@Mskittle
I forgot about that too!

@Dime
What we need is for comedians to start being the commentators, only the ones who know and love the sport. Put them next to knowledgable coaches and let em go. You see how Charles Barkley and the crew are working out, now imagine adding bernie mac to that sh*t. It would be HILARIOUS, as Dave Chapelle's son would say about Nick Cannon.

Billy Packer is a homer and plays favorites with his commentary. He's very one-sided when calling a game or speaking about a player/coach.

I am not against replacing him. But please correct yourself, he is NOT an icon.

Dick Clark for New Years celebration?....wow. Where have you been? Dick Clark is on his last breath....

As for Clark Kellogg....he is not bad, but I'd go with Gus Johnson!!

get rid of fudgie? they can't do that! obviously he's annoying to hear and i hate listening to him commentate, but he's like an icon for cbs! it'd be like getting rid of dick clark for the new year's celebration; he should be removed cuz he can't perform his job properly now, but he's someone people identify the program with
