They made a trade for Iverson and had no plan in place...just expected the guy to go there and make magic. They never went out and got the proper back court mate for him, Steve Blake was cool but they let him go. You don't make a major trade for a player like Iverson without a plan in place. He's a very complex player, you can't just place him in the backcourt with anybody. Right now the Nuggets organization are looking like frauds. They acted as if they were ready to win when they traded for Iverson..but in reality were not. The fact of the matter is, they made the trade for Iverson and did nothing else significant after that to better that team. Their FO sat back and watched a defensive lacking team throughout the season and did nothing to better the situation before the trade deadline this past season. They watched players get fed up and tune out their Coach, a Coach that has made too many mistakes to still be around, watched their team get embarrassed and meltdown in the playoffs this season...and still did nothing about the Coaching situation. I sat back and watched Carmelo fraud his way through the season, acting like he was ready to win when Iverson got there, when reality says that he is immature, not a real franchise player and is not ready (if ever) to help lead a team anywhere. He just hid behing Iversons leadership this entire time, its ridiculous. At this point I don't care what the Nuggets do as long as Iverson gets out of that mess. They blew it off (Not that Karl would have played them anyway because he "didn't know them very well".) We have two very injury prone players at the 4 and 5 and if one of them goes, as of now, we're screwed. The 4 men in the front office are dumbasses, (understatement of the year!). They are not trying to win a championship, they are trying to free up cap space. That's it! There is no reason, no plan, no nothing. One of the dumbasses is constantly on the radio talking about how the city needs to trust what they're doing. What!!!??? I'm tired and hurt that they have no intention in gettin AI a ring that he deserves. I would hate to see him go, but I understand why he would leave. They're not even paying JR Smith what he deserves and he's talkin about walking if they don't pony up the dough.
