Jordan Olympia
With the ’08 Olympics less than a month away everyone is catching the Olympic fever. Jordan Brand has released the Olympia, their performance shoe for the ’08 Games. ‘Melo and CP3 (well, CP13), the two Jordan Brand reps on Team USA, will be sportin’ these while out in Beijing.
The shoe, modeled after the Air Jordan X, bares the numbers ’92-’96-’04-’08 representing the years a Team Jordan athlete has competed in Olympic basketball play. The 1992 Olympic Games was added in honor of the original Dream Team, but it doesn’t include MJ’s ’84 gold medal (Jordan Brand wasn’t around just yet).
The Jordan Brand Olympia will hit stores 8-8-08, the day the Olympic Games start, and will retail for $135.00. Expect about five other colorways to drop also.

I was thinking the same thing. You know, have CP and Melo wear their own joints, but in the interest if team spirit and unity they Jordan wanted them to have another shoe.

At least these ain’t as ugly as those horrible tennis ball shoes, or those ugly ass denim ones. These don’t look too bad at all. Not nearly as good as the Marty McFly Hyperdunks though…they’d look good banging in my Delorian.
