Pass the Mic: NBA Summer League Live Blog, Vegas/Orlando Edition
O.J. Mayo debuts today.Today marks the final day of the Orlando Pro Summer League, where the games are already underway and available in live-streaming broadcast HERE. It is also the opening day for the Vegas Summer League, the NBA’s premier summer run featuring 21 teams and running for the next week and a half. You can catch all of the VSL games on the web HERE, and some of them — like today’s Lakers/Pistons (8 p.m. EST) and Mavericks/Clippers (10 p.m. EST) games — will be aired on NBA TV.
Like we’ve done in the past, we want to give our readers a chance to live blog on the summer league games. Come here to post your scouting reports, player and team breakdowns, quick observations and everything else. We’ll keep an eye on the comments and post some of the best in tomorrow’s Smack.
As an added incentive, the first game in Vegas has the Sixers going up against the Warriors, and one of our DimeMag.com regulars, “Doc” from Philly, is actually suiting up for his hometown squad. Doc is better known as Dawan Robinson, the ex-Rhode Island point guard who’s played some pro ball overseas. He’s listed as #40 on the Sixers roster.

Good Luck Doc! Hopefully it’ll be a good showing, I landed a pass for next Saturday myself as I’ll be in town for the weekend. Can’t wait to check out some of the rooks, and even my home town team of the Raptors, even if the only guy recognizable will be Joey Graham on their squad, lol.

Doc is looking solid. He is a Philly cat so he knows their looking for a big PG who can defend and hit an open shot. Look forward to seeing him down the road.
I didn’t know him, but played against him in High School, good to see a guy who deserves it get a chance.
