We’ve been hyping up the arrival of Spain’s Ricky Rubio for a long time now, and the world will soon get to see him up close. Today, our friend J.E. Skeets over on Ball Don’t Lie posted this recent video of Rubio going Pistol Pete and Team Lithuania:

I gotta give him his props he might be overseas best ever if he keep working on his game.He look like he gotta little J-Kidd up in him with his court vision.And he got a funky little style that I can relate to.As long as he dont come in the league with that soft shit he’ll be good.As far as the Olympics its not gonna be good to judge him unless its against USA or Manu,the rest of them teams guards he should give the business too.

@Daquestion
yeah…that this kid is still only 17 is the craziest part of the story. Looking forward to seeing him soon. A more athletic Steve Nash is what I’m thinking he’ll be.

Nice move. Hopefully he can be consistent in actual skill when I watch him in a game.
Is it me or does all Euro-flare end up resembling Emanuel Ginobili (as opposed to a Rafer Alston or Allen Iverson)? It’s just some distinct flavour I’m not very comfortable hollering about.

Sergio Rodriguez can pull stuff like that, but he can’t really shoot or defend anyone. Is he just a dude with tricks, a la ‘Spanish Chocolate’ or is he real? I guess we’ll wait and see.
K Dizzle, LED signage has been around for about five years man. Where you been?
