I would like the Rasheed Wallace Bullets jersey because im a a true Wizards/Bullets fan I never gave up on my team through the bad years and I believe the luck this jersey will give me will get me 100steps closer to getting me a offical Agent-Zero after game jersey…2 years ago I caught that jersey and then soon after was mobbed by 3women and knocked out…they took my jersey but the blood that came from me was Bullet Red and White and Wizards Blue also magical…:(

Oooooo thats phat!! I have the Portland, Atlanta (customized) and Pistons jersey.. That Jersey would complete my collection (besides the NC Jersey i STILL cant find for a decent price) I have them all in my workout room on the wall..
So i would def frame that and not ever wear it..
I also have all of KG’s and TD’s.. lemme know bout those.. im a PF fan so all the HOF’s from my NBA viewing period get put up on my wall..
Funny story but i had KWAME BROWN’s jerseys.. Washington (signed) and LA because i thought he would turn the quarter.. now its the sweat rag on my bench press lol

Come on dime you don’t want to stop the man from walking do you? Think of the negative publicity you’ll attract.

yo, i’ve been filming all summer on a project and I’ll where this jersey throughout any of the party scenes that I have yet to film. I’ll shave the bald spot in my head and yell insane knowledge about Sheed from UNC, backing up Juwan and CWebb in the day, the fact that he was a 2nd round pick (44th I believe), traded to PDX, where he was an allstar twice, then traded to ATL where he landed for a hot minute before the Pistons picked him up for notta nothin.
Instead of yelling “Kobe” (a la dave chappelle) when cleaning, playing ball, or beer pong, I’ll yell out Sheed instead. This would make a sick prop to wear in my show: 1557 Eastwood. Hook it up, Dime.

Back in the 95-96 season, my father was travelling to New Jersey on business. At approximately, 1am there is a loud banging on my father’s hotel door and an accompanying yell of, “Yo Sheed, let’s go!!!” My father gets up, half-naked, half-awake, and stumbles to the door. He opens it up and in front of him, stands Chris Webber, looking rather embarrassed - not so much for the obnoxious knocking on the door, but instead for the half-naked overweight guy that just opened the door.
My father needs this jersey for the next time he is mistaken for a 6′11″ power forward for the Washington Bullets. Hey, you never know, it could happen again…

The emotion that Sheed plays with is enough to make anyone a fan and when hes locked in and does whatever he wants to on the court, on offense and defense, it makes you frustrated that he doesnt do it all the time. Without a doubt Sheed is one of my favorite players in the league. When talking about the top 4 men in the league its was TD, KG, Sheed, and Webb: and when he was on the Blazers if he played one of them you knew Sheed was going to put in work.
I just graduated from college and got an apartment back home in Boston and this jersey framed (once i get it autographed) would be perfect on the wall to my game/ theater room im about to set up. I would love to get his jersey.

Samaki Walker says:
post 11, you probably don’t know enough about Sheed to drop any knowledge (let alone ‘insane’) about him. If you did, you’d know that he was the 4th overall pick, a 4-time all star, never traded to whatever “PDX” means. Stop posing.
And Dime, I deserve the jersey cause I’m such a big fan of his that I sometimes even fantasize bout Fatima, even though she looks like a slighly feminine version of Ron Artest.

I wonder if Rasheed can get his pay for those missed games back now?

I deserve it because when we we used to travel down to the MCI Center (Verizon - Now)to watch Rasheed, Webber, Juwan, Tim (Legs) Legler, Chris Whitney, Calbert Cheaney, Mark Price just rev up the crowd, the kids, everyone to watch the Bullets play, it just made me a fan of the game, the hardwood, the snacks, the crazy people performing outside on buckets and cans, the lights everything.
It was when I first learned to appreciate the atheletes, the show, the excitement of a comeback. It was def. innocent and memorable.
I’m sure EVERY fan can say that when you are at a game or watching one, its just time to chill, relax, unwind, and root for people you may never meet in life.

yeah , i’m not gunna make shit up about getting hurt or whatever — robbed .
this sheed jersey is stupid dope . y’know how most jerseys out there bring some criticisms ? any jersey , really .. someone wears a Jordan jersey - even though he was the best player ever , yadda yadda , homie’s gonna get some slack for not being original . next dude wears a Pippen jersey — this guy’s gonna get heat because he’s NOT wearing a Jordan jersey , and ‘trying to be original’ by repping Scottie .. nah mean ? same goes with anything : Kobe jerseys (rapist), Vince jerseys (cry about it), Yao jersey (if dude’s not chinese , he’s gonna hear about it) , Lebron jersey (if it’s not the blue one, it should be) etc .. etc …
but this Sheed jersey .. no one can say shit about it . sheed got drafted in 95′ by the Bullets — and half the people (as proven by this board) don’t know that . the fact alone that this jersey is tight as hell AND promotes something else (throwback knowledge, discussion) is amazing . not many jerseys can do that . pump your brakes on thaat .

Uhm.... says:
I was just sitting in front of my computer, the Pistons season ended with Sheed once again losing his head in a crucial game, going off at the refs. All I could think was, damn what are the Pistons going to have to do… was this the last hurrah? We gotta trade Rasheed… trade him now before he leaves as a free agent… After checking dimemag.com, I went to http://www.detroitbadboys.com and ran into this article From Terry Foster of the Detroit News:
The millionaire stood in the rain for 10 minutes with rain snapping into his face, signing red-and-blue T-shirts for boys and girls who sang his name.
This wasn’t part of the bargain for Rasheed Wallace. The deal was for him to come to the Derrick Coleman-owned Synx Sneaker Studio, promote his new Rasheed Wallace Air Force 1 gym shoe, talk to a few youngsters and then be driven back home, where he would celebrate his son Nazir’s fifth-grade graduation.
The rain and autograph session in a weed-choked alley was not part of the bargain. It happened because kids waited in the rain to meet him and Wallace felt an obligation to make their drenching wait worthwhile. […]
“Sheed, can you sign this,” young kids begged.
“Hang on,” Wallace said. “I ain’t going anywhere.”
And he didn’t.
“Y’all know I grew up in a neighborhood just like this,” he said.
Earlier during the appearance, he participated in a Q&A session inside the store:
“You know people say I got an attitude problem,” Wallace told his audience, which drew laughter. “People think that I am the same way off the court that I am on the court. That’s not true. On the court, I am at work. When you are at work or at school, you don’t want people bothering you. You’re at work. You got a job to do.”
But he does not want people knowing much about good Sheed. I ran into a man the other day who told me about all the wonderful things Wallace does in the community. And his charity work comes with one small price.
Don’t tell anybody.
He wants the world to see him as big and bad, sometimes unapproachable and tough.
That’s why he tries to keep things like his impromptu autograph session in an inner-city alley under wraps. This is his human side. This is Rasheed Wallace feeling comfortable in an environment where he got his start.
“Is that it?” he said as the final autograph was signed.
i finished reading the article and i felt ashamed to have had my doubts about rasheed. rasheed is the man, the one guy in the nba that i have the most respect for. he was the only piston there when curry was hired as coach, and he’s the only guy that i wish the pistons do not trade this offseason.

Being a fan, of course as I walked up, I tried to see whose it was. Number 11…wasn’t ringing any bells. After he passed, I looked at the back - Arvydas Sabonis.

(his freshman year he avg 20 and 6 on a team that had 8 players scoring 20 and better the year after they won the chip) I was in landover md when unc a one seed lost to BC a nine seed in the second round 75-72 my guy sheed took a 3 to tie it at the buzzer a sign of things to come i guess. Sence then he has been my fav unc player of all time and in my top 5 in the nba. Give it to me (please). Sheed’s my favorite players and I’ve always loved the old Bullets jerseys. I would rock it along with my Sheed Blazer jersey (always rocked at the Rose Garden when the Pistons come to town to make sure Sheed still feels love even though the stupid Blazer fans still boo him).

sheed’s my dude thru and thru…
there aren’t many other stars who have stayed true to themselves like ’sheed. always playing hard, always letting EVERYONE know how he feels and what he’ll do, sometimes disengaged, and just a good dude off the court, sheed is a BASKETBALL player first and foremost and hasn’t let the league, the media, the system as it may be change him at all…
…and he’s a hood dude
…and i’m moving to DC and have no DC gear
…and i look good in red

i am a big fan of sheed. i’d rather have him on my team over dirk/kg/duncan.
like sheed, i’m an underachiever in life. people tell me i should study harder, but i just wanna chill and only occasionally do well.
unfortunately, i don’t have a technical foul problem like him.
maybe a throwback sheed jersey can bring me closer to being like my man sheed.
left handed 3 pointers FTW!

Sheed is my Boy!……Id frame it and put in on my wall….i already have the blazers one and the 04 pistons one where he wore #30 before switching to #36…. so this would complete the Sheed NBA collection for me….and this would be framed because it is where he started his NBA career.

I’d like to hang it on my wall as some sort of piece of art. It’s a symbol of the epitome of potential being wasted away. The Bullets had super-talented players who would come and go. They could have been a dominant franchise (Webber, Juan Howard, etc.) Similarly, Rasheed Wallace, though he did win that one championship, could have been something much bigger.
July 18th, 2008 at 6:43 am
Mrkoenz says:
I’ll just use the shirt to lure the bulls running around in the fields into my shed so I’ll have something to eat. That’s the way Rasheed uses it oncourt, he’ll like it this way too I bet.

First I would love to have this jersey simply because it is a Bullets jersey. I live in DC and remmeber the days of the Washington Bullets playing at the Capital Center. That was the first professional sports venue I ever went to. Me and my father would often go to Bullets and Capitals games. This jersey to me would be a great piece of history to have in my collection.

I really should win that jersey! I have gone so far as to name one of my roosters Rasheed. The damn thing looks a little off, but has a hell of a crow, and his comb is just a little tweaked. Of course, my other chicken, Ben Wallace, “died” about a week after Ben got traded…save Rasheed!

I dont know if its too late or not but I’ll try anyways. I volunteer with Young Life in South Central Houston. A lot of the kids here play for the school basketball dreams and use their hoop dreams to stay out of trouble. This jersey will definitely be put to good use for them.

First off Rasheed Wallace is my favorite player. I from NC so I’m a huge Tarheel Fan. The way Rasheed plays is so great the combination of inside and outside game is amazing. I would just wear the Jersey to rep my boy Rashed. and Also Its my birthday today JuLY 18.

Miljan says:
I want it for the fact that it’s Rasheed Wallaces jersey. I live in Canada and I’m pretty sure they don’t sell Sheed jersey’s around here. Sheed’s one of my favourite players, and I’m actually trying to save some money to buy his jersey online along with Monta Ellis’s…I’m only 15, and have yet to get a job, so you can imagine that the money comes in slowly for me (allowance is a good thing). Regardless of the weather, I go out and play ball everyday. It’s a 30 minute walk, but it’s worth it. I’m probably one of those guys who’ll play in the CBA, ABA, or if I’m good enough maybe Europe or the NBDL. But I just don’t see myself doing anything else. I don’t want to do anything else. I’m one of those guys that just loves basketball, that why I NEED the jersey. To show everyone my love for the game (going oldschool with the bullets is a nice touch too).
If I somehow won the jersey, I would wear it to school, when I go to the courts, the movies, where ever I can basically. I’m not the type of guy to sell something like that (unless someone coughed up 50 g’s or something crazy like that). And I’m definitely not one of those guys who would frame it. After all, it is a jersey and in my opinion it’s meant to be worn and shown off. When I’m older, I’ll probably end up framing it, but only after I played in it, at least once.
Please hook me up DIME! In exchange I’ll finally subscribe to your mag. I was going to do that sometime this summer anyway, lol. But winning the Sheed jersey would definitely be a very nice, added bonus.
Peace.

Yo… I’m a HUGEEEE Sheed fan from wayyyy back in the day. I watched him as a Tar Heel, then kickin’ it with the two Fab 5ers on the Bullets, all the way to the epic 4th quarter melt-down in the playoffs to the Lakers. I’m a Pistons fan and it would be great to rep for Sheed and his ways in my town (Detroit) especially with the chances of him being sent out either this summer or next. He is a great community guy and a standup individual. He is not misunderstood, he just challenges the MAN. I love that about him, and thats what has made him my favorite player in the NBA.
Lastly, if not for the reason that I am Sheed’s second biggest fan (Natalie of Need4Sheed.com is clearly number one), I am probably one of the only people that knows why Sheed has that bald spot on the top of his head. The man has got Alopecia areata monolocularis, a condition that both him and I share. (Thats me showing that I know my Sheed facts!!!)

Even the little kids i teach english to, hatin’ like a motherfucker. Im no “yall dont know nuttin bout dat” type shit.
I would wear it while sticking turnaround jumpers in my spanish friends eye. And if had ups like that, I would dunk and go “AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!” like he used to on those old Jefferson Piloot Raycom Sports telecasts with the super miked-up backboards.

Daniel Avitn says:
Before you give it to these guys… Before you even consider some of these guys please consider this. I AM A HUGE FAN OF ARVYDYS SABONIS! Sabonis you say?! Let me explain. Sabonis was my answer to all of my friends’ comments on how great Shaq was (in retrospect I was clearly in the wrong). Sabonis was MY man in the middle. His passing was dirty. His range would stretch that D! His defence was really nice as well… and he held it down for my jail blazers! Then came the Western Conference series against the Lake show. I was GOING OFF on my friends, convinced that the blazers would make the finals and bring home the ‘chip. Sabonis (in my mind) would hold Shaq from his outrageously dominating game! I was wrong… my ego was beat up HARD!!! But what killed me hard was when ‘Sheed threw the towel in my man’s face! It cut deep! I loved Wallace almost as much as Sabonis.. and yet I watched in Horror, Emily Rose Horror, as one of my favourite players caught a RUDE towel by one of my second favourite players!!! I will never forget it…
This brings us to the present…
I still love Sheed. He gets me amped during his warm-up dances, deep contested shots, his always entertaining smack talks… He is still the man in the post for me (when he is actually in the post)! Sheed forever!
Sabonis however did not throw in the towel after Sheed threw the towel. MY MAN went on to get MVP of the Italian league at the age of 42 (with beat up knees) averaging almost 17 and 11! NO HARM DONE WALLACE!!!
So Dime, that is the story.
HOOK
ME
UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m a huge Sheed fan always have been, favorite player ever, since i really got into basketball back in 98 or 99. His jailblazer days were glorious and had i been 6′11 i would have modeled my game after his, also i’m really considering naming my first child Rasheed, or just Sheed wife or baby mother or baby mama (whatever it may be) permitting. Also my spelling is awful and that jersey would help remind me “bullets is spelled with two L’s” I’m a student i need to learn proper spelling.

I love that uniform! You guys gotta hook me up with that jersey. I am a BULLETS fan; not a Wizards fan but a Washington Bullets fan! (If it wasn’t for the Christmas on Crack color scheme of the Bucks, the Wizards would have the worst uni’s in the league.) I should get that jersey because I have been going to Bullets games every season since ‘86. You should give me that uniform because I will rock it at the Phone Booth opening nite and every game I go to after that. I should get that jersey because I actually miss the Capital Centre. (and yes that is the correct spelling) I need that uni because I wear a Bullets hat to every Wizards game I go to. I need that jersey I because I still can’t believe that Wes traded Sheed straight up for drunk-ass Rod Stricklind!!!!! That’s the reason I am a Bullets Fan!

I want it because I love the BULLETS, not the Wizards.
I want to win it cos the fact is, I really like Sheed during his Bullets and Blazers days, so hopefully I can win it and wear it to the games wherever Sheed might end up with. Thanks guys.
