  2. Homeless J says:

    @ doc

That’s the most literal example of a carbon footprint I’ve ever seen.

  3. daQUeSt?oN says:

  4. doc says:

  5. shake&bake says:

I think I should get them because it’s my birthday and I wear size 13. Perfect.

  6. isotope says:

Hey, this one will not be for the kids. This will be mine. I think dude is 1 of the most underrated. A phenominal athlete. Been a fan since Georgetown.

Ok, maybe I will auction them off for the kids but thems would look nice in my closet.

  7. Big Sia says:

Send those kicks before I turn a dime writer into the next antonio daniels.

    Plus im a 13

  8. big money says:

Yo Dime! I’m trying to be the next Iverson but without his shoes, my crossover just isn’t reaching its potential. If you gave me his shoes though, I’d be taking kids to school on the court and maybe make it to the NBA. Help a guy out. I know I got the potential to be the next AI but I gotta have his shoes. Don’t deny the next NBA superstar.

  9. Steve says:

I feel that I should get these Iverson shoes because ive been following Iverson since College throughout all of his run ins that more or less outsiders trying to bring him down. I remember going to Portland game when they were playing philly, it was Allens 3rd year in the league. He hadnt really blow up yet and I stood with a handfull of other kids to get his autograph. When he came by he stopped and signed my magazine. It was a great day. I was so pumped I wouldnt put the mag down the entire game, I didnt want to crease it or have it get stepped on. Ive got the mag framed on my desk at work. Out in Oregon there was no way to get those shoes, and they would be a sick addition to my autographed magazine. The should look nice sitting on my desk right next to the mag! I cant wait to see my bosses face when he walks in and sees a pair of sneaks sitting fresh on my desk. So I think I should get the shoes because i would appreciate them more than anybody and represent AI in the truest form! Thanks Dime!

  10. rob stewart says:

My favorite player of all-time is Allen Iverson. I loved hm in Philly and I love him in Denver. I even wore my Sixers Iverson jersey just yesterday. If I won these shoes I might actually where them a few times to big/important events. I would tell people where and how I got them. Eventually I would put the on ice in a display case.

  11. Michorizo says:

I remember Iverson playing for Georgetown and launching threes from 35 out then driving to the hoop and dumpin’ on all the bigs back then … is this a good enough reason to get them? I don’t know but I want them. Maybe we can work out a trade.

  12. D-NICE says:

I want these Q3′s to go with that other pair of Q3′s so I can be stylin’ on fools in different colorways

  13. pittbull says:

hook it up dime. If u bless me with the kicks (size 13, believe that ladies) I promise ill throw them on, go down to my cousins house, and kick that door in demanding to know where my wife is. For real though I love AI (besides the Glove my favorite player), i love the kicks, and up here in Northern Alberta (here for work) i done scuffed up my whites and cant find nothin fly at these cowboy shoe shops. Get at me!!!

  14. Logan Light says:

What exactly is the right thing to say here? Allen Iverson is STILL relevant when you talk about the top guards in the league. He can still dominate with quickness. I have yet to find an NBA fan who does not like Iverson. He’s shown maturity over the years…

I love Iverson. But who doesn’t? Maybe you should give these kicks to someone who hates him… just to spite them.

OR – just give them to me. Thanks.

    LL

  15. Logan Light says:

PS – I just picked up a set of Michael Jordan pogs from ’95. Yes, I said POGS. Perhaps we can make a switch a roo…

    yooo Dime crew!!
Im from LA, but i’ve been all AI since the beginning!.
Back in 01′ when they had their run, I would walk inside my High School with an AI jersey on, getting all kinds of stares from people. but after the first game, i walked into school the next morning, and stood tall with my jersey, and i looked at people and said “what!?”
I’m an AI fan like no other man, seriously no joke!! I NEED THESE KICKS!!!!>>>PULEASEEEEEEE

  17. frings says:

I´m 6´0, weighing 175 pounds have a killer crossover am the same age as AI, so the only noticeable difference between me and AI, besides being white and German, are the shoes. So if you wanna be part of creating an exact AI clon this is your chance!
I´d even take care of the extra shipping costs…

  18. Eric Richelsen says:

I NEED THESE KICKS and they are my size.(PLEAAAASE send them to me and look out I can be the next IVERSON.

  19. Andy says:

I need these because just watching AI breaks my ankles.

  20. Daniel says:

I’ll take those shoes. Thanks. Email me asap for my address. Thanks. I’ll take those right now. Thanks. Don’t be dumb, send them to me. Thanks

    Thanks,

    Daniel

  21. Matt says:

I need these because I could seriously sell them to my friend who obsesses over AI? And I will split the cost with Dime Lol

  22. Chris Y says:

Being a small basketball player like AI and competing with every ounce of effort he has every night is truly admirable. In addition to his unbelieveable talent and remarkable effort on the court, AI serves as the ultimate role model for smaller players. It shows them that you can be under six feet tall and still dominate a high-level basketball game.

I try to bring the same intensity as AI does in all aspects of my life. I truly believe that I deserve these shoes.

I want these shoes becasue they are looking real fresh and because I need a new pair of basketball shoes. Should I win the shoes I would have to decide between wearing them to play or just when I chill.

p.s. I wear a size 13, am a DIME mag subscriber and I check the site multiple times every day

my dime days started out when dime wasn’t dime at all. if i remember correctly. ya’ll started out as hoopstv.com. you guys got my attention back then when you guys had basically a shrine just for basketball. the first basketball game i can remember is a jordan bulls/lakers game. my mom was a lakers fan, and it was the first time i went against the norm and started following the bulls/jordan. now i hate to follow players and start liking the teams where they go, but thats how its been. other than philly. being a pa boy, born and raised, ive been a philly fan for life, followed the sixers since iverson joined, and b4 i knew about my man chuck used to be the man. since then i have learned so much about the nba and the history of the sport. one thing that has never changed is when a player has got heart, the fans will always respect him. and that’s what AI is all about. my first ever AAU kicks were the question mids, navy blue size 11. i have always kept all my pairs of bball kicks, never being able to afford them brand new, always having to buy them off eastbay when they go on clearance. if I got these AI Q 3′s, I could replace my old ones that my mom apparently has misplaced. if i were to do anything with the shoes, it would be to help reassure a point, do onto others as you want done onto you. yeah AI had his moments, but he always did it for the fans and he respected their power and presence, and in return the fans did the same thing

  25. B says:

Just please give them to a 76ers fan!

  26. AG says:

If I can get these shoes and that tee ya’ll are giving away, I promise to use it as trade bait for the Barkley jersey.

on the real someone broke into my house today while i was out, he dint take much just my watch that my parents gave me for my graduation, its not that expensive but it has a lot of sentimental value. if i won these shoes it would make me feel better cuz the have my nickname and iverson is my hero

  28. ash says:

this kid’s been using a pair of beat-up size 12 Marbury’s I brought from the U.S. last year for his league games down here in Mozambique. his favorite player is Allen Iverson and I promise you he will shed tears of joy if he could get his hands on these.

  31. Henderson says:

Whats up Dime, its my Best friends son’s 13th birthday today and i don’t know if you guys gave this away yet but this would be a perfect gift for the kid. He is sort of a AI super fan ,mainly due to the fact that that is his fathers fav. player. I mean the type of kid that wears the arm sleeve during his league games rocks number 3 and swears he ‘s gonna have the second best cross in the world (2nd to AI of course) after watching AI’s crossover collections on the internet and practicing day and night since he was about nine. This would be a perfect gift for him the kid is 13 and wears like an 11 so i can bet he would be wearing the kicks by next month the way hes growing
