   I would have to say Majestic Mapp (St. Raymond’s) or Kenny Satterfield (Rice High School).

   Both were animals, and used to torment me in high school. Guarding them wasn’t fun at all. Lol Majestic did whatever he wanted to on the court and there wasn’t a soul alive who could keep ‘Serious Sat’ from getting to the rack.

   Mapp went on to play @ UVA, but he blew out his knee and finished up @ West Georgia I think.

   Kenny played w/ K-Mart at Cincy and just recently had 68 points up in the Bronx at Hoops in the Sun.

    #9, considerin jordan was the same height, with a few inches of more vert,and did every dunk in his day with ease…its easy to figure if jordan was playin now he’d be able to do any dunk vince has…hell, jason richardson has done most of vinces dunks. They just had different eras so different dunks. David thompson had a 44 inch vert at 6′5. your tellin me he couldnt go between the legs if he was playin now days in his prime? same with jordan or nique. If guys were thinkin of those dunks back in the day, they both could of done them

That was a great contest all together w tmac stevie franchise and vince. Still say vince may b a spot behind james white as far as best dunker of all time. Too bad that dude will probably never stay in the league long enough to make a contest appearance

    It was one of the top personal performances but i wouldnt say teh best ever. Vince’s only real comp was francis. Tmac was killin dunks but was just so mellow after that he didnt get hype. And people didn’t even care about larry hughes and jerry stackhouse being in it.and james white hasn’t gotten any better as a dunker since high school, not to mention he has been choking in a lot of recent dunk contests. He relies too much on his foul line dunks so once he misses one, its over.

    The best moment for me of VC’s win was right after Vince pulled the 360 windmill and everybody went nuts…. what does jerry stackhouse do to follow it up… a regular 2 hand 360 i understand he probably had a plan going in of what dunks he wanted to do but after you since VC do that you can follow up with that weak 360

    I wouldnt call Vince in the dunk contest the best ever.people was just so hype to see Vince in it they were going crazy after the dunks.Every dunk he did Ive seen done by highschool players.I mean he went between his legs,something JR did years ago.He is the most exciting in game dunker to me though as far as history.But I agree with Bron that Mike and them coulda did that shit if them dunks was out back then.Vince didnt make up none of them dunks.
