We Reminisce: Karl Malone vs. Dennis Rodman (WCW)
You mean you didn’t buy “Bash at the Beach” ‘98 just to see this? Malone actually isn’t bad; if he’d wanted to be a wrestler, he at least had the look (like a bigger version of Booker T) and the basic moves down. Rodman, who was supposed to be the “vet” out of these two, is the one who messes up a couple of spots. And you have to give it to Hollywood Hogan for selling it like Malone was a legit beast.

maybe Karl shoulda been a wrestler. That way, they could’ve just given him a title, cuz god knows he couldn’t win one on his own. He’d also be among other guys who’ve probably done their fair share of dirt w/ 13 year olds…

Question: I don’t think Malone was a FA at the time of this so my question is back then was pro wrestling just not covered in the non-approved activities list in sports contracts or was this event one of the reasons which provoked a listing of non-approved activities in sports contracts in the first place?
