We Reminisce: Kobe drops 12 threes, 45 points on Seattle
A couple years before I saw first-hand Kobe torch my Sonics for 40-plus points in Seattle, there was this game in L.A., when Mamba lit up the Sonics for an NBA record 12 three-pointers (45 pts). Legendary Sonics announcer Kevin Calabro has never been one to downplay an amazing performance just because the player doing it is on the opposing squad, and I remember watching this game on local TV and hearing Calabro going nuts describing the Kobe Show.

I was at that game. 5th row just off of center court. Unbelievable. You could hear GP talking trash to KB on every inbound play. Kobe just busted shots in everyone’s face. It was almost a joke at one point cause noone would play up on him and contest. The few times they tried KB blew right past them. Greatest regular season game I’ve ever seen.

Was that Vlad Radmonovich that got it in the face on the last one?…Looked like he stupid ass. How many points did Shaq scor in this game; and, was there ever a better passing center than Diesel in his prime? Even though Wilt led the league in assists, I say no. Peace.

Was Kobe wearing the Iverson Questions in that game?
