    Is Rick Mahorn in the wrong here? I was always taught never to hit a woman, but I don’t recall any advice on pushing them to the ground. Mahorn may get a pass on this unwritten rule by technicality.

    All the sportscenter reports this morning were saying that the detroit girl started it but it looked like she just walked toward Parker to get in her face and Parker pulled her down and rolled on top of her. 10 to 1 says Parker doesn’t get as long of a suspension tho (since she’s the face of the league)

    Well, I think the beef isn’t primarily with Parker because things were all cooled off by the time the free throw attempt started. Then, Karl’s girl is just kind of being a pest by trying to box Parker out to like the effin halfcourt line, whereas Parker is clearly not going for the rebound. Shortly there after, parker pulls out the Judo toss and puts lil’Malone on her ass. And quite frankly, I support and respest anyone who puts a Malone on their ass regardless of what sex chromosome their carrying.

    ya, that and the woman he hit rabbit punched him in the back of the head. You can’t hit a dude then pull that, “Don’t hit me, I’m a girl.” (especially when these girls are bigger than most dudes and are pro athletes - very highly trained, strong and in great shape - not exactly the dainty ones this social norm was enacted to protect.) You don’t want to get hit, don’t hit anyone else. I woulda just bounced instead of doing that, but Mahorn was defending himself. He’s an idiot and shouldn’t have touched her, but if you hit someone first, don’t complain, and if that someone is Rick Mahorn, you know damn well he’s not just running away, regardless of how much smarter it woulda been…

    (again, not saying he shoulda touched her, he CLEARLY shouldn’t have, but don’t hit someone first and expect nothing to happen and he did only PUSH away the person that was punching him, not like she got drilled w/ a right hook. Again, I don’t and never would do that, but I also don’t expect to get sucker punched by one either. Once that happens, instinct and self defense kicks in. It’d be COMPLETELY different to me if he kept going after her after he pushed her away.)

    @24 and 26, if you were a pro athlete w/ the potential to be the GOAT (Candace could absolutely be in women’s ball) would you waste that to pop out a kid now?

    not to mention, they’re both basically kids themselves (9 years from now, they’re still both barely over 30.)

    its one thing to hit one when she hits you, but it all depends on the hitting imo. if a girl is going to stand up and box fine, but if she comes up slappin and pushing, simple restraint is all you need.

    i train a couple of girls that will stand up and box, and will put your ass in the dirt too, but we get girls all the time who want to learn and end up leaving after the 1st class because they are not used to being hit and dont know how to hit back.
