Reports from Oregon Live say that the surgery went just fine and that Roy will be back on the court in 4-6 weeks

let’s hope he doesn’t miss to many games. there was this guy on a team that missed the first 7 games of the season for his team last season don’t remember his name and they lost almost every one of those games then they missed the playoffs as the best team ever without making the playoffs.

Ok this is about S.Jackson and the warriors.

This will be a blow because fernandez and bayless will do just fine when the season roles along but at the start you need someone to show them the ropes. No offense but martel webster looks a lot less like a teacher then brandon roy.

He’s going to miss all the conditioning and be at a disadvantage when he comes back…everybody will be at full speed and he will play the rest of the year at a disadvantage…same thing happened to Bibby a couple years back where he missed camp with a foot injury and never had the conditioning he needed the rest of that year…

Logan Light, that’s right on. I tore the meniscus in my left knee snowboarding a coupld seasons back and it ended my winter, but I was totally cool about 8 weeks after surgery and I’m not some super athlete with personal trainers and shit, so Roy will be all good by the start of the season.

Not a big deal. A torn meniscus is painful because of swelling, but nothing that is going to be career threatening. Like Coop said – non-story.

This is basically a non-story. I hope he takes his time with the rehab. Who cares if he even misses a few reg season games? dont rush back and everything will be cool in Portland.

Who cares if he misses the preseason.That shit dont mean nothing except for people trying to make the team.Its the same as football.Who watches after the 1rst quarter except if you got a family member out there.
