Derrick Rose has officially been a pro for a few months now since being selected by his hometown Chicago Bulls with the first overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft. Even though he is just two years removed from high school, we figured we would refresh your memory on how dominant the 6-3 195 pound guard really was at the high school level. He slashed to the basket at will and if you slept BOOM!, you became a part of his highlight reel.

    Derrick Rose was a stud in high school and in college. He locked opposing pg’s down in the NCAA Tourney. I would have like to see him win the title. I’m excited that he went to the Bulls! He’s the best guard I’ve seen come out of the Chi in my life, and in my opinion, he’s the best since Isiah.

    DWade is from Chicago.
    Before you jump on the Rose bandwagon I’d slow down and say that for now Wade is the best guard to come from Chicago..Wade vs Isiah? Interesting debate.
