I’m not mad dude it’s cool . I just think it’s a major character flaw that’s all (Jax i mean). Because Monta/Beidrins raises have triggered this, it’s pretty clear he just wants it because they’ve got it. That’s pretty pathetic from a grown man who’s a millionaire imho.

for the FIBA Americas tourny (assuming we win the WC the year before and it’s just for fun,) I’d say throw out whoever the USA Select Team is and let them get some Int’l experience that doesn’t include getting Gatorade for Kobe. They’re (potentially) fast-tracked to the real squad anyway, so why not?

Pesonally I still say they should let countries put out as many squads as they can for basketball. Perhaps rock a tournament joint and let alll the teams get after it.

That way you have a possibility of USA getting a gold and silver, or gold and bronze.

Not to mention that way you possibly have a redeem team type squad playing a New regime team (dang I should copyright that now and just get payed in 2012).

Imagine just on a starting 5 of Kobe, Kidd, LeBron, Dwight and Melo vs. Baron, A.I., Tracy, Beasley and Stat.
I think it would make for an awesome game and you know we would be posting all day long on if this and that.

Spain might be able to get 2 squads out and other countries as well like Russia and others.

I just think it would be fresh and a way to get even more ballin. Yea I know it will prolly neva happen.

Still would be tight though.

Whatchu talkin’ ’bout, Willis? Jax will be on 7.6mil this coming season. How much is he worth and was the season they had all on him or might it have been Baron as well, not to mention Monta.

What you seem to be missing is that HE SIGNED A CONTRACT. Why do you think Iggy got paid so much? Is it because he’s a 10 time all-star? No, it’s because over the course of his contract they feel it’ll be good value. Hence it’s different from the job i have, or you have. Do you see? If you’re pissed at your contract that’s your fault, you signed it. And you’ll ultra-dense if you think ‘he got paid so i should get paid’ is how it works in this context. that numb motherfucker wants more money because he’s a greedy weasel and instead of waking up to the fact that he wasted his early playing days fucking around and THAT’S why he hasnt been paid over his career like how i imagine he thinks he should, he’s asking for a fat extention. Well, sorry, Jax, that ship has sailed and you’re not on it.

Switching gears here….Sunday’s Gold Medal game between the US of A and the Spaniards was about as exciting and thrilling a pro hoop game that I have seen in years.
Perhaps, ever.
It was ever so refreshing to see our NBA studs, stripped of their bravado, swagger and attitude and acting simply giddy on the sidelines as the clock was winding down and the post-game interviews.
Also, it was so nice to see all of the players (led by Bron-Bron) walk over and shake Doug Collins’ hand.
Give Spain MAD props. Seriously. They matched Team Redeem bucket-for-bucket and stride for stride. I still find it incredible to think that Spain had a 17-year-old PG. Imagine that? There you are, 17 and Kobe is guarding you? Are you kidding me?
Also, how DOPE was that facial served up by Rudi on Josh Howard? Give Spain all the credit in the world…but give our guys more credit.
Incredible game…does anybody know when it will be played again on TV? I want to record it.
Looking forward to the latest ish of Dime. Keep up the good work, guys.
