Jannero Pargo and Flip Murray May Be Next to Go to Europe
Free agent guard Flip Murray has reportedly been offered a multi-million dollar contract from Moscow Dynamo for next season and may be preparing an offer for Jannero Pargo:
A source said free-agent guard Flip Murray has been approached by Dynamo Moscow. The former Cavs guard had drawn some interest from Cleveland, but that was before the Cavs signed Tarence Kinsey. Dallas and Washington have also sent out feelers.
Murray has reportedly been offered a contract worth $2.5 million USD ($5 million gross) by Dynamo. Dynamo coach David Blatt also has his eye on former Hornets guard Jannero Pargo, who is being pursued by San Antonio and Denver. Those teams were offering a little more than $2 million. Pargo’s agent, Mark Bartelstein, is using the interest in Russia as leverage with the NBA clubs.
Flip has had his moments in the L, and one thing he can do is score.
The bigger loss for the NB would be Pargo. That guy has made himself into a valued chip, a nice addition to any NBA team that needs a backup guard/scorer off the pine. But if he gets to start and get paid in Europe, who can blame him?

I could see Flip, Pargo would surprise me though. He seems like he’s on the rise and woulda got some good $ this summer. Guess it may just be from much further away than we all thought…

The only way the Wizards should be reaching out to any more guards is if they are pass first only. Flip and Pargo are both shoot first guys and even though they can score they won’t fit in if every1 else on the floor (besides Centers) can score lights out. The Wizards need another forward/center…can we please get one plz???
