K1x 187Every kid dreams of making it to the NBA and having their very own signature sneaker. I remember drawing my own sneaker designs with my logo and jersey number on them.
Conventionally, one would have to drop massive buckets in the NBA to get their own sneaker, but the days of having to play in the League for your own kicks are long gone. And Corey Williams is living proof.
Whether you know him as ‘Homicide,’ ‘Mr. 187,’ or ‘Silver Surfer (due to the way he runs through people) Corey Williams is a problem on the hardwood. This summer, Corey went on a stretch where for a week he averaged no less than 40 points. And just so you know, Williams played about 6 games that week.
K1x 187Not only has Homicide killed on New York City’s hallowed courts, he gets busy for that paper too. Corey led the CBA in assists, and was the All-Star Game MVP in the NBL (Austrailia). He also has dropped buckets for the Denver Nuggets and Toronto Raptors summer league teams.
The guys at K1x definitely have noticed Corey smash everyone in his way. They made Corey a signature shoe, making him the first non NBA basketball player with his own signature shoe deal.
We’re not sure how long Corey can boast about having his own shoe and not being in the league because we’re pretty sure he’ll be balling in the L sooner than you think.

These look like great kicks. Christian, I have been trying to get a pair of these for a minute man. I think they only sell them in NY or something like that. I live in Philly and the Foot Lockers around here have no idea what k1x is? It is crazy man. Bobbito contacted the owners of the brand and I think they said they are only sold in a couple Foot Lockers around the country. Anyway, if you get your hands on a pair send em this way!
