Kobe Bryant still needs surgery, remember?

The last time it was even an issue was at the All-Star Game, when Kobe tried to get out of playing and ended up basically standing on the court for as little time as possible before calling it a day. Since then, #24 went on to help the Lakers clinch the West, win his first MVP, get his team to the Finals, and win an Olympic gold medal, all while playing with a finger that he constantly described as a “noodle” on his hand.
Now that he’s got nothing to do (other than work out like a maniac) for awhile, Kobe can finally have surgery on those torn ligaments. According to the Orange County Register, no date has been set, but the procedure should happen within the next week or so. Recovery is expected to be at least a month.

Just think of the ramifications here…you’d be 20-40% more proned to getting an eye-poked out if you blocked his shot/came within a centimeter of touching him during his ‘natural’ shooting motion. For fear of eye injury, no one would d him up and his shooting percentage would be legendary.

DIME I don’t know if you all somehow did that on purpose to go with the story, but Kobe’s hands look huge in that pic. Not to say they aren’t anyway but still, he got the bear claw thing going.
Imagine just having 1 finger. the bird finger lol. For the rest of your life just giving everyone the bird.
Nice poll question to DIME. Got to go with Ron so Shane can get back and pop the three to win. Didn’t that happen the first game the Lakers and Rockets squared off in last year? I just remember Shane droppin a three and Kobe being mad in some game. Oh well.

I hate how ppl always want to talk shit about kobe or hate on him every chance they get. it’s ridiculous. are ppl that jealous? just respect the fact that as of rigt now, kobe is the best playet on planet earth. hands down. if it’s not one thing, it’s another. you may not like his “character” or whatever, but just respect the fact that he is the best at what he does, and the fact that he works hard and has mad talent. period. until any of you actually speak to kobe, stop hating and talking shit. because it’s so unbecoming.
