Reebok Talkin Krazy

Most basketball players at some point in their lives write on their sneakers. Whether it is a quote, their number, or their nickname ballers have been tagging up their kicks for years.

The only problem with that is once you write on them you can’t really erase it. Reebok has come up with a way to rectify that with the release of its Talkin Krazy sneaker,
The Talkin Krazy is a performance basketball shoe made out of a dry erase board. So now you can customize your shoe as much as you want with the ability to erase and start with a clean slate.
The Talkin Krazy drops 10/1.

i was just thinking about how cool it would be to have a black dry erase board. does anyone (outside of google) know if they even exist? but these shoes are nice and i might get them if they’re not too high…

It’s an interesting concept, but I’m pretty sure the material will not uphold the dry-erase ink well, so if you actually play (much less wear) the shoes, it’s very likely the art will lose it’s integrity quickly.
Plus, I’m pretty sure you can do this, so long as you have light-coloured patent leather. A little birdy told me the adidas ‘Impossible is Nothing’ TS Lightswitch Low utilizes this for customization.

Reebok IS releasing these in black-based colorways… it is writable with a white marker. Looks pretty cool. I’ve heard there also may be a metallic platinum edition writable in both black and white.
