It was one of the best highlight videos of Larry out at the time, but it was just that: a video. It was at the very end of a VHS tape that contained hours of my cousins and family at reunions, parties, and vacations. So you either watch the tape all the way through while you grit your teeth and doze off, or you fast forward and guess where the Larry Legend part starts. It was easy for me since I watched it so many times, but my dad had a little more trouble even working the VCR. Now, the tape has not worked in any VCR for years and has collected dust somewhere in the basement, but it doesn’t matter. My older brother and I can recite the entire tape for my dad, and he doesn’t need a tv. From the part where Larry is interviewed at his retirement press conference and he told the press how “I used the roar of the crowd to take my game to the next level, and I done it numerous a times in the Garden,” to his quote about how sad the day was: “This is not a sad day, and I promised myself I wasn’t gonna cry.” We did it all for my dad and still do. Now that we are both gone and moved out of my parents house, my dad needs a new Larry Legend video to bring those memories back, and this DVD will go above and beyond that! Thanks!

Appreciate it… It’s cool though, if the worst disappointment I have to deal w/ all year about my Celtics is not winning a free Larry Legend DVD (and it was the biggest/only disappointment) then I’d say I’ve had a damn good year. Also, I remember reading that post and thinking that he could easily take it.
Tend to agree that msot of these guys don’t post much/at all and that it woulda been cool if it went to those of us that do, but what can you do? They did the time it mattered and now Dime’s got more people (should anyway) that’ll post.

Since there was no real rational as to how items were dispersed, there isn’t much to go on. Maybe they were giving it to the relatively young cats or the cats with young shoe sizes…
Dime got people arguing like it’s the NBA MVP voting or something, where there is no clear criteria and everyone has there own reasons for choosing one thing over another…
In the end it is all hits that equal traffic, that equals $$$
