I love it how everyone in this entire post is talking like a million dollars is a small amount of money. People act like these ball players won’t be set after they finish playing. There are millions of people around the world who are happy as hell living off of a lot less. A LOT of those people don’t have college degrees either. If there’s something more important to you than money, follow THAT.

maybe this is just me being delusional, but where i’m from a mil is a crapload of money. if the nba is offering me 1 mil and the euroleague is offering 4-5, i’m going nba. not only cuz it’s closer to home, but also cuz of the history. i mean, i’d take a 3-4 mil pay cut just to play for the celtics, laker, hell even the knicks. besides, when you get mixed up with all that money it does stuff to ya, like with latrell spreewell and his recent foreclosure. like i said, i’m prolly being delusional, but if you have a chance to do something you love for a team you grew up loving, who cares about the money? as long as you can support a family, its all good, right?
