Sign him. Anyone that can still shoot like he can, will be on someone's team, so it might as well be the Knicks. Check out H20 sinking 10 straight 3-pointers just a few days ago on youtube:

I love the Seinfeld reference. You should have seen/heard my father's reaction to the Knicks invitation to Houston. Besides the screwface, my father went into a rant about how the Knicks do the same dumb things every year along with how things are no different than when they were under Zeke. He kept calling Houston a bum and said that D'Antoni needs to be fired. Then he went into how Jim Dolan needs to give it up and sell the team.

I share my pops sentiments. I can't believe I bought two tix to go see them this year. I already feel cheated....

I don't like this at all.

@anyone saying that this would be a good PR move: this kind of move is WHY the Knicks are in a bad PR spot. Overpaying for a guy like Houston in the first place, then seeing it blow up soon after and having to pay for it for years. Let's make that mistake again and again and again til 2008, when we can start the whole cycle over again.

What do the Knicks owe Allen Houston?

Dentures, a 10% discount on meals at Denny's and Kenny Rogers, and a swift kick in the ass.

"Sign him in a heartbeat"?!

For real? There are solid dudes that weren't drafted or have played overseas or in the D-League last season that I would much rather have. In fact, there are NBA free agents that I would much rather have. The dude was an All-Star and a legend... but hasn't played in a couple years. You lose your edge and lose your step.
