   Dime – i see you are trying to offer videos within the same timelength, however consider the sample sizes.

   Rudy Gay shown 10 dunks
   Iggy shown close to 50 dunks.

   There are plenty of youtube links that do “top 10 dunks by….”. Please either make both contestants “top 10″ or the “compilation” so its fair. Those would be better for an equal sample size and not potentially sway the vote.

   With that said, I’d still vote for Iggy’s body of work.

   @Eric — I always try to find identical clips, but in this case, there was no Iguodala “Top 10″ that included his Dunk Contest work and some of his more recent dunks. Similarly, the longer Rudy Gay clips I found didn’t include the summer-league dunk over Yi or the Scola/Mutombo dunk. But I still think both clips give you an idea of each guy’s repertoire.

    I agree with Eric, bad choice of videos.. or if there isn’t a good enough ONE then put two for each. Not including Rudy’s college dunks wasn’t fair, and that was a crappy vid of Iggy.

    Rudy has the best two dunks of the players, but Dre I is the better overall dunker. People aren’t foolish enough to think they can muscle him or jump with him at this point. Rudy caught to “green” international players in their first years pretty bad…Nasty, but Dre I is about two inches shorter and has more power with as much ups…

    Iguodala is better than everyone in the league not named Vince Carter…Josh Smith is a signature dunk and some ball handling from taking the top spot…

    you don’t see AI posterizing people in games like Rudy. Yes he had the better dunk contest dunks, that behind the backboard thing was crazy, but Rudy has had nastier dunks in games. Rudy is the better dunker.

    In a game setting Rudy is better and it isn’t even close. The top of Rudy’s jump puts his hand about 2 feet above the rim.

    Rudy makes his dunks look way more effortless and easy. AI dunks with more authority and power but more so b/c he is much smaller and not as fluid as Rudy. So i guess it is just a matter of which type of dunker you like. Both are athletic dunkers but Id have to say Rudy is the more skilled dunker and AI uses more raw power.

    I thought this was going to be closer, but iggy does more dunks, and is lacking in size compared to Rudy. Rudy makes shit look too easy. When iggy crowns somebody it always looks so much worse than when Rudy does it.

    AI2 wins this contest by a long shot. Iggy has some crazy dunks on some top bigs in the NBA, and he cocks that shit way back. If you want evidence of this, I advise people to watch some more clips of Iggy.

    I know this is an old topic, but that’s bullshit that AI2 lost the dunk contest to Nate Robinson, seriously who gives a damn if he’s 5 foot 9 and he can dunk.
