It's an opportunity for Diogu but I think Travis Outlaw will take the minutes, with Portland continuing their quality small ball lineups.

Man this just brings to mind how you can have the bomb squad and it can be gone like that because of injuries. Hate it for dude, and anyone, but at least its only weeks out and the starters are still cool.

Regardless of Channing's injury, this Blazer squad has big time things in their future. The organization has done a damn good job of being patient, getting the right guys in, and shipping out cancers...(Darius Miles, Zach Randolf, Steve Francis, Sebastian Tellfair). They have gone the route of developing players instead of trading for Vets with a "one year wonder" plan in mind. While that worked for the Celts, this plan seems to be in line to work just as well. Shows what happens when a team is dedicated to their players, drafts good quality characters, and has the patience to put up with mistakes.

That's a damn shame. I've always been impressed with Frye's play and it seems like he'll get a chance to shine this year. Oh well. Hadoken's right though, couldn't he have worked on his rebounding?

i really like portland's squad right now! they're stacked with talent. and they're YOUNG. some teams only have a solid core to work around with only 2 or 3 players (my kings...and our core isn't even that solid), but the blazers are looking pretty good for the foreseeable future. all that weed smoke finally blew outta the building! lol
