Jordan Brand Shine On Backpack

Shine OnShine On

Remember a while back I went on this rant about how important accessories are to completing an outfit? Well, I am still standing by those statements, and I still feel as if the time piece you rock is the most important accessory, but the bag you carry could be a close second.

Have you ever seen a guy walking with a nice suit on, freshly polished shoes…and a Jansport book bag? It just ain’t right is it? I mean, don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with Jansport bags. All I am saying is that your bag should compliment your fit.

Shine OnShine On

Jordan Brand’s Shine On Backpack is straight heat. I am not a big fan of patent leather, but it actually works with this bag. Maybe because it is all black and not red patent leather or a crazy color like yellow (Both of those colors would be interesting to see though).

I definitely would rock this bag. It reminds me of the Air Jordan XIs. This actually might be a good pick up being that the XIs drop in December along with the XIIs.

I could see Prince wearing one of these going door to door as a Jehovah’s Witness, spreading the good word with his bag full of the latest copies of Watchtower.

The Jordan Brand gets an “A” for effort and attempting to break the status-quo of backpacks.

Is that bag actually in production? I imagine seeing a lot of spin-off bags with patent leather pieces.

  11. Jason says:

Actually, I would use the “gym bag” version of the backpack if it existed.

  12. Coop says:

haha sorry Christian no offense intended. Totally not my thing though mate. The whole ‘patent’ (as I believe you guys call it) thing barely exists over here. Nasty! haha

I guess if you’re in school or a messenger, it would be okay, but otherwise I am not really digging the male handbag accessory.

    @ CGF and Coop

Yeah i think that sh*t would fly over here, all the kids are pickin ub that N-dubbz vibe with the dappy hats an all that. To be honest, Jordan Brand dont get any representation over here so it wont drop, but if it did, the local school run is gonna be a shinier place for sure.

And second of all, this guy in the nice suit, freshly polished shoes, and a f**kin backpack? Yo, shiney or not, if you aint hikin’ or ballin and you aint 13 years old, you shouldnt be rockin no backback. Patent leather, silk, pure gold or dolphin skin, it dont matter, why are you wearin a backpack?

  17. Coop says:

I take a Berghaus one to work, Sweet, and I work for the Ministry Of Defence.

I take a lot a gym stuff to work. A briefcase won’t work.
