Josh Smith Drops 53
Josh Smith is four years removed from his high school days, but we figured we’d take a walk down memory lane. Smith was a beast at Oak Hill Academy (VA), and probably cost Indiana’s coach at the time, Mike Davis, his job by deciding to make the jump straight to the pros. Take a gander at this highlight video we found of Smith dropping 53 points at an all-star game in New Jersey. The alley-oop at five seconds just ain’t right man.

He really didn’t play hard alot , I saw him play like a dog some games in high school . A kid at villanova named Shane Clark scored 30 points on Josh like it was nothing during his senior season .
Jay Bilas saw this stuff as well

A National Title wouldn’t have saved Mike Davis :
1) He replaced a Legened and at the last minute
2) He was a militant brother in the wrong neck of the woods (he made too many people nervous)

Josh Smith is just downright talented. I think he’s the only guy in the league right now that can go out and average 20 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocks per night.
The thing that pissed me off last year was he played lazy sometimes, and he’d get into some unnecessary foul trouble. I hope he doesn’t pull a “Sheed” and waste his talent away.
