   I guess it was cheaper to keep the Hornets uniforms from when they were in OKC and just make some alterations.

    There are a lot of color combinations that would look great that haven’t been used by NBA teams. I don’t understand why all the new jerseys are either carbon copies of other jerseys, or they go so far out of their way to have a different color scheme that it looks lame. Why hasn’t a team jacked the Steelers yellow and black scheme yet? Shit you could call this team the Oklahoma City Wu Tang Killa Bees and people would still take them more seriously than they do right now.

    I hope Kevin Durant spends a few years in OKC, then gets a monster contract and uses the money to buy a majority stock in the team so he can make his own uniforms and team name. the Oklahoma City Durants.

    im gettin live for 2 reasons the right analog stick for the dribbling moves is way more comfortable than using the same left stick for everything in 2k9. the online on live has more stuff this year.

    lsat year i had 2k8 didnt like it that much

    Seriously, aren’t the Hornets uni’s trademarked? I’m pretty sure that’s illegal. Color schemes, uniforms, entire franchises…at this rate I would be surprised if Clay stole my grandmama’s pacemaker just for the hell of it.

    @ ian: there is a controller set-up that allows the right stick to be used as the isomotion controller instead of the shot stick. On 2K8 I use it in my franchise when I player lock on Gilbert Arenas.

    On second thought, I don’t think these will be their uniforms. NBA 2k probably counldn’t get the uniforms in time to put out the game so they went with the Hornet uniforms when they played there.

    road jersey is ok…looks like the knicks jersey, but the font is ugly as the logo itself…

    do they also have alternate jerseys? maybe in black?

    Weird, they look like the pre-cut unis you’d order for your suburban team if you were a knicks fan. Or a first draft, amazingly unrefined.

    They look like a jack of the Nuggets colours when they go the blue/yellow too, surprised that hasn’t been brought up more.

    OKC is a small market team so they need to look to bigger markets for inspiration.

    Completely lame. Because of the length of Oklahoma City they should try an over/under split with the number or a circular logo like the San Francisco Warriors used. As far as color goes, sky blue? Doesn’t Thunder occur during dark stormy skies?

    I expected this to go poorly when they chose Thunder as the name. Hard to do visuals for a sound unless you wish use the lightning visual to imply thunder.
