The Warriors Fly High

Stephen JacksonStephen Jackson

You ever get on a plane and walk by celebrities in First Class on your way to your Coach seat? What about have your boarding pass scanned and preflight announcements made by Stephen Jackson? Well, passengers on Southwest Airlines flight 292 yesterday can say they have when the Warriors’ Jackson, C.J. Watson and Richard Hendrix, along with coaches Sidney Moncrief and Russell Turner, traded places with airline employees at Oakland International Airport while aboard the NBA-themed aircraft, Slam Dunk One.

When asked about what’s in store for fans in the coming months, Jackson replied, “We’re starting off on a runway, so you know we’re taking off this season.”

Not only does he have street cred, he’s got wit!

  2. control says:

Another weak SJack article…is that ghetto smurf a part owner of Dime or something? The guy is slightly better than Ricky Davis, just as bad to his team’s chemistry, and a known drug dealer…yet Dime always seems to be on his jock.

    Lay off plz.

How is it basketball themed? Do they go through a giant netted hoop during takeoff and landing? Or is it basketball themed because Stephen Jackson and some Warriors bench players are playing like they’re Chris Farley and David Spade in Tommy Boy, dressing up like airplane attendants? Does Stephen Jackson show you how to use the floatation device and then deflate it by shooting it?

It would be great if they flew the plane over strip clubs, put a bunch of dollar bills into the airtight hatch and then released it to make it rain.

Ron Ron for the fist to fist combat
S Jax for the fire arms
Rasheed Wallace For the yelling and screaming effect
    Josh Howard to drive
David Wesley to drive in case Howard’s too high

That ain’t right y’all - Stephen Jackson may think he’s a real thug, but he’s only a phony.

    True thugz never lie.

Hey Control…Can we say Hi Hater, Hi Hater, You see me!!!

  11. jimmhumm says:

At least its something. Season still don’t start for another month. I can see S-Jack but where are the other starters? Al can’t stop by for some PR?

  12. dagwaller says:

First of all, Michorizo consistently makes me laugh - one of my favorite posters on this site.

Second of all, I like this article. Never been a big fan of S-Jax, but this is exactly the kind of feel-good stuff that we need from ANY player, especially a guy with a checkered PR past. Double especially after guys like Josh Howard make waves. Good line about taking off, too. Good job all around for the Warriors.

  13. pimpdaddy says:

control, u said ‘’stephen jackson is a known drug dealer.”….exactly where’d u hear that? elaborate please….thanks.

  14. dat dood says:

  15. loot says:

  16. Simon says:

Homeless J comin’ with that FIRE!

  17. control says:

I thought him sellin some drugs was a well known fact?

I seen it with my own eyes once while I was in Vegas running some pickups. He dished more on the sidelines than he ever has in a basketball game.

He’s also high as fuck in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0NYzfokrXE&feature=related

  18. Desrat says:

Y would a cat that is banking a liftimes salary in a single year sell drugs? He may do them, but dropping dime sacks at the rec center for the same money that he makes in the first 0.05 seconds of a game doesn’t click.

He may bank roll others, cause that is profit, but he isn’t working a corner.

  19. control says:

Fuck if I know or care what he does or why he does it. To quote a wise man “stupid is as stupid does”. Why would a guy rollin a few mil bust shots off at a strip club? Why he even goin to those joints when he could just order in?

The evidence for him using is obvious, just watch any game the guy has played in…and that youtube video I already posted.

  20. hardheaded says:

    @control

Dude u know nothing about Jack so stop tellin lies, first off he doesn’t sell drugs u didnt see him in vegas slangin lol and where in da video is he i didnt see him at all
