Over on HighSchoolHoop we are taking a look back at the 2005 ABCD Camp, where one of the summer’s most legendary battles took place. O.J. Mayo, arguably the top-ranked high school player in the country at the time, matched up against a rising freshman upstart from Brooklyn, N.Y., by the name of Lance Stephenson. OJ Mayo had a stacked squad with his North College Hill HS (OH) teammates, Keenan Ellis and Bill Walker, while Stephenson had Derrick Caracter on his team.
We came across a video of the fabled matchup. Stephenson wasn’t a national name just yet and he started out the game going after the top dog Mayo and the two went back and forth like crazy. Check it out HERE.
