Andrew Bynum Makes It Rain In the Club
Andrew Bynum was feeling extra generous on his 21st birthday at an L.A. nightclub this weekend. Dude has a boatload of cash, and he poured a lot of it down on the dance floor, occasionally taking pauses to throw up the Roc. I thought professional athletes realized that they shouldn’t ever be seen doing something that Pacman Jones is known for, but I guess not.

“Making it Rain” has to be the most demoralizing thing out there for someone with money to do. I feel worse for the poor schlubs that go running for the money scattered all over the feet of said person “making it rain”. Like a bunch of peasants. It’s utterly and completely demeani-

wow. Stay classy Bynum.
Not the kind of behavior you want to see from a guy who is looking for a big contract. This will earn him a trip to Kobe and Phil’s dog house.

Whoah, when the hell did they change Bynum’s brain with Ricky Davis? Damn scientists…

Drink the Haterade (KB24 Chip 09) says:
They will forgive him, it’s his 21st birthday, but come tonight he will get the stare from Kobe. And if he f-ups again then he will be in the dog house. Lakers will win tonight by 12-15 and Bynum will punk GO. You heard it hear first. Let the hatin commence.

justice says:
So he’s throwing money away in the club and he’s phucking up the oppurtunity of a lifetime? It’s some stupid shytt to do, some really stupid shytt to do but, it’s just a fade it will burn out just like all the others..
and assuming that our culture is made up of phucking up oppurtunities is more stupid than making it rain, how many rich white kids phuck up their chances all the time and no one has anything to say, it’s a whole lot more than the black kids that phuck up…
So if u want to be foolish and do something completely legal, but stupid on ur birthday phuck it toss them dollars andrew, it’s urs to waste

Yo, the last time I went to a club (like summer of ‘06) it was in Atlanta…Fat Joe and his boys were throwing money in the crowd, and I just couldn’t bring myself to stoop down and pick it up…everyone was dropping to the floor and crawling around and screaming and stuff…all I could think was, “This is making Fat Joe feel so gassed up right now”, and I just couldn’t bring myself to drop to that level.

A$$Cube aka Bynum says:
How dumb…
You can see players trying to improve young adults’ perception of life by pulling for them to check what’s going on in the management of their country and others & then go vote.
You can see players trying to improve kid’s perception of life by pulling for them to open a book once in a while.
You can see players trying to improve club rats’ perception of life by throwing ca$h at them like they don’t know another way to get their own money –by getting a job for example.
And at the end of the day, it’s Bynum not Charlie Bell nor Ira Newble who’s gonna be featured as a role model to the public eye.
True thugz never learn…

parting shot
Andrew bynum is a phucking cornball in every sense of the word, the dude has just seen this shytt on tv and realizes that his corny ass has an oppurtunity to be cool, because he’s rich..So the throwing money thing is just his way to try to get with the in crowd…please believe the in crowd dudes know he’s a phucking cornball too, they’ll just use him for the paper.he is no pacman jones…

X0T says:
too bad all the ghetto scholars and geniuses who might actually make a difference in their community cant get some of that money. Instead it goes to idiots like bynum and lebron who happened to be born tall so they can build big ugly mansions with bowling alleys and shit. Maybe in the distant past these young men would have been part of a community where they could be guided by a council of elders to help them invest in the future. But nowadays its not the wisest, but the biggest and strongest, tallest idiot manchild who is the leader of the tribe. He has all the money and nobody can tell him shit, he’s the man, can dunk a basketball real good. this culture has been purposely infantilized to the level of an alpha-male animal society.

@ everyone
keep in mind he was at a dance club. a strip club would have been a bad look for him (Pacman style)

October 28th, 2008 at 3:07 pm
Ian says:

if he did that shit NO ONE would go for the money he would be laughed out of the club and called a chopo. (chopo is used here to describe someone with money and no class at all)

bynum making it rain isn’t THAT bad, that’s a lil stack… pacman got in trouble cuz he started a riot by throwing $81k and then tried to get it all back. if it’s in your hand its your money, when you throw it in the air it’s whoever grabs it’s money

LakeShow84 says:
I blame gangsta rap XOT.. not hip hop but gangsta rap.. Especially nowadays.. its all about flossin whatchu got.. it taught young black men how to flaunt and show their OWN wealth and not help the crime riddin neighboorhoods they lived in… How to go for the easy route (jumping after your freshmen year for bank?) than work hard to learn how to be a real man through struggle.. and trust college is struggle.. even for those nerdy kids everyone figures got it easy..
Its as simple as taking a gun to fist fight.. Takin the easy way out instead of earning your stripes.. If these guys only knew what it meant to struggle while ur a man.. not struggle when ur a kid and your parents are the ones struggling..
Look at Leon Powe.. He could’ve hit the draft right out of HS but went to Cal and is STILL trying for getting his education.. Why?? because he was made a man early and struggled with it.. now he knows its more about being A man and not being THE man.. u can tell when he plays..
