Baron Davis Injured

You may have seen this headline on the ticker last least night/early this morning: Baron Daviscould be out 4-6 weeks if he has surgery on a sprained ring finger. If BD goes under the knife, Clips fans are looking at Jason Hart and Mike Taylor taking on the PG duties. Add in the fact that the Clips have shut down Marcus Camby for the rest of the preseason in order to (hopefully) get him healthy enough to go on opening night, and it’s already not looking good for the Clips. They could find themselves in a hole they can’t climb out of right from the jump.

So the nucleus for this team is 2 CONSTANTLY injured stars (Davis, Camby,) 1 constantly underperforming/caring player (Tim Thomas,) a post player who was barely there in half his team’s Olympic games (Kaman,) a me-first posterboy (Buckets,) a promising-but-undersized rookie (Gordon,) and a bunch of guys that’d be lucky to make the Bobcats. The same old Clippers are back!
