Baron Davis Sick Feed to Al Thornton Last Night
It’s taken absolutely no time for Baron Davis to change the way we think about the Clippers. Boom is in ridiculous shape – on first glance, he looks like a guy who was worth the $19-plus million option that the Warriors didn’t pick up. And with Jenny Craig, he’s making all those other guys around him in Los Angeles look like a legit supporting cast.

Baron’s gonna ruin some point guards this season. Heads always sleep on dude when it comes to points. Talkin bout Nash, D-Will, Parker, Chauncey. Please. When Baron is on his game, healthy and motivated, ain’t no better point guard in the league except CP3. Best part of the play was that Boom causes the original turnover, before sellin up Al for the crush. Dude is gonna straight punish this season. I’m a Laker fan, but I ain’t stupid enough to sleep on a squad with that much talent, youth, experience and defense.

Healthy and motivated Baron is a top-5 PG no question, and probably higher. His combination of size, speed, athleticism and court vision is damn rare in a point. Maybe the only guy in the league who exceeds him in most, if not all of those categories is Lebron. Still, will we see Baron healthy and motivated if his Clips start to lose?
