Matt, Nate, and I checking out the photos

Two days ago Aron Phillips and I got up with Nate Robinson for our December issue’s fashion shoot. We met up at Harlem sneaker boutique Vault for the shoot and hooked Nate “The Great” up with some of this season’s hottest clothes.

With T.I., Jeezy, and Hova playing in the background we rocked out and put together a fashion spread that is definitely en fuego. Photographer Matt Brown took some hot photos of Nate using the store as a backdrop. Vault has been open for a few years now but they just recently had the store done over.

Besides the hot sneakers and gear Vault has, the main attraction in the store has to be the metallic stage with locker-like shelves on which the kicks are displayed. As soon as we saw it we knew we had to get a shot of Nate in front of it.

Behind the Scenes

On top of that, the floor of the metallic stage has super exclusive sneakers in it. Yes, you read correctly, the sneakers are in the floor. The “XBOX” Jordans, Year of the Dog Air Force ones, and some crazy tennis ball-like Reeboks were displayed in the floor underneath glass.

The 3 hours were spent cracking jokes and vibin’ to the music. Nate even brought some of his favorite pieces out of his closet and rocked them for the shoot. Nate’s a natural in front of the camera, it was like he’s done 1000 fashion shoots before.
