Depends on if this bandwagon is actually a truck. And Steph is somehow involved. Other than that, I’ll take the next ride.

TJ says:
The Knicks are terrible.

MAYO~ 4~ROY says:
I’ve been on the knicks bandwagon….I always pull for the underdog…..I hope they make the playoffs…
Remember Boston spent years trying to make it back to a championship level of play.
KNICKS UP! EVERYONE ELSE DOWN…….

@ #4
Did the Knicks just sign Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen?…where was I?

Drink the Haterade (KB24 Chip 09) says:
Andrew… In case you forgot the Knicks haven’t been relevent since Pat Ewing left and Jr didn’t inherit any of his daddy’s game. Even if they score LBJ, they are gonna have to lose Lee to get him. Lee’s a restricted free agent at the end of this year and his salary will be on the books till 2011.
Until they rid themselves on Z-Bo, Eddie Curry, Jerome James, Malik Rose, Steph, Mardy Collins, well hell just about eveyone but Lee and Chris Duhon, they will not be relevent.

Kermit the Washington says:
@ Fallinup:
Was that a reference to that chick that sued the Knicks pants off? Brilliant!
Here’s my post that you can resurrect in February:
“Wow, Crawford and Robinson sure are fun to watch (on 2k9)! But those Knicks SUCK!”*
*Kermit the Washington reserves the right to take back that comment if the roster drastically changes this season, such as a superstar trade or something of that nature.

SteveNash says:
play off the game was weak! Stop doing crack in the office… SUGGESTION FOR NYK’s – pump fake and drive to the basket, you don’t have to take JUMPERS all the time!!!

Well, Katz gave everyone the chance.
@Andrew, I hope you write down all of the names of dudes who took this article with no respect. If the Knicks do something this year, you might want to call them out on the front page…
As for me, I can’t get on the Knicks bandwagon… I’m tailgating the Heat! For real though, my Heat are going to be relevant again and I can’t wait!

never been on the knicks bandwagon, and never will i think. Like kermit,I believe excluding a major trade, they will not have a meaningful season, improved, yes. deep playoff run no.

@ Say Wha?
Good link.
Metamorphosis? Andrew be on that good ish. As a die-hard Knicks fan, I predict I’ll be just as depressed about the team in February as I am now. Much like I was last November, and in March ’06, and in Febuary ’04, and in April ’03…
October 15th, 2008 at 5:46 pm
HeadKicker B says:
I’m back on the wagon. I don’t believe they will win a championship this year but at least they are playing competitive (and entertaining) basketball for the first time in years. (I root for the Nets too).
October 15th, 2008 at 5:59 pm
rodnets says:
This bandwagon should should eject Eddie Curry and Z-Bo ASAP. Otherwise, the Knicks will not move the fast paced Mike D’Antoni is trying to impose.
October 15th, 2008 at 6:03 pm
D.H. says:
I didn’t actually think you were serious. Then I realized you were. I feel sorry for you, you’ve got a long season ahead of you.

Yup, the Knicks have turned around years of embarrassment and ridicule with that nifty left hand finish shown in that clip. Where can I get my tickets for the NYK bandwagon and how fast?

I am listening. The team will be exciting this year and could end up being the 2009 version of the Hawks. Ain’t no way they win a chip but they should improve. You can have your moment Andrew.

jl90 says:

Nice break.
Looks like D’Antoni got the claim ticket from Zeek and got the Dubs out the pawn shop.
Now if I could just get someone to surgically remove the Nuggets GM’s heads from their collective asses, I’d be in business.

Knicks in Six says:
No Johnnie come lately here…on board since 84-85 till the day…well you get the idea. Just mad cause I had league pass last year and had to sit through that mess and now I got FIOS (triple bundle…economics is hard all around nowadays)and they don’t have league pass (not even NBATV) so I’m gonna miss the resurgence visually but I got TNT for the playoffs.

Ha, lucky I became a Knicks fan last year, when they sucked to high heaven and everyone made fun of them! Now I can laugh in the haters’ (and bandwagon jumpers’) faces when we rock the house this year!!!
