You might remember Anthony Roberson from his days of running with David Lee and Matt Walsh down in Gainsville, Florida for the Gators. Roberson did his thing for the Gators but went undrafted. After playing overseas and taking the road less traveled to get to the League “Peep,” as he is affectionately known as, has made the Knicks’ roster. Here is a little info on New York’s new addition…

Now that you made it to the NBA have you exhaled or are you still trying to prove something?
I mean…It is a bit of both. I am so happy to be here but I know there is still a lot of work to do. I know I can get better. I am relaxed a little bit but everyday is a grind.

How do you feel about playing in New York City? The Fans?
It is exciting to be here. The city is a very new experience. I know that the fans are really into the games and the Atmosphere will be crazy here at our home games.

In your free time what are you doing?
Man…I like kicking it with friends. I go to the movies a lot. I just saw Lakeview Terrace. That movie was good! I am a laid back dude. I just like to relax and do chill stuff. I bowl a lot.

What music are you listening to now?
Jay-Z is my favorite rapper. I listen to a lot of Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, T.I…I am a Jim Jones fan. Plies is hot….but I like a little R&B from time to time too (laughs).

What’s in your closet? What clothes do you rock off-court?
I wear Jordans, Air Force 1s…I rock Polos, True Religions, Levi’s..anything comfortable. I rock v-necks and t-shirts too.

What do you want to bring to the Knicks?
I want to bring energy off of the bench. You have to embrace your role and make the best out of every chance you get to play. Every time you step on the court you have to play hard. That is what I am going to do.
