Jordan 6 Rings Concord Release Date
Jordan 6 RingsJordan Brand’s 6 Rings sneaker has taken the sneaker community by storm. Well at least it has in NYC. Since they have dropped not a day goes by where I don’t see a cat rocking them, especially the red and black colorway.
Jordan 6 RingsPeople are going to flip out when they get a gander at these. Reminiscent of the Jordan XIs, the Concord colorway will have any fan of the AJXI rushing to the store, and who wouldn’t love this shoe, they were designed in the likeness of the greatest sneaker ever made (Yeah, I said it. ).
The Jordan 6 Rings Concord colorway drops 10/25. For more info hit up www.Jumpman23.com

tbone says:
nike is whack. their new designs can sell for crap so they have to butcher and destroy old classics to get people to buy shoes. it’s been a really sad time for a while for og sneaker heads. first it was the ajf3.. now its this 6 rings crap that insult the xi’s.
do i sound bitter? yes.. as a sneaker head from since the late 80s and a person that knows mj is a jerk.

i agree with tbone …. for me , it was a stab in the back when the AF1/Jordan V’s came out … just .. terrible . the things i like most about the Jordan V’s were taken out and put on a shitty AF1 base .. . like spitting in my face .

Yeah, I love Ferragamo’s but this sneaker is hot to play ball in or to rock (if that’s your thing). You have to admit, you and your hating partner in crime Coop HAVE to like these!! LOLOL.

Coop says:
Christian,
They’re not awful to mine eyes, but I don’t think they’re a triumph of design either. Firstly, I’m more of a low-top man. Secondly, nothing about them stands out for me; they seem a bit ‘blocky’ and ‘rear-heavy’.
I’m a fan of design and some of the shoes I own for that reason (I never wear them) are the LeBron 20.5.5s, The Wade 1.0s, A few Nike Shox Mids and some And1 Tai Chi Mids and Lows.
These just don’t flick my switch mate, sorry.
P.S Ian, we’re going to break him, keep it up! haha

Mark says:
What it succeeds financially it destroys in integrity.
I certainly see the appeal, but I won’t cop. I’m all for progression of the brand, but they seem to be ever more content with appealing to the rather overzealous commercial market. But they’re still stealing my money via Nike-brand products, so no loss for them, I suppose.

@ Coop
A wise decision to not wear the Lebron 20.5.5’s
I was waiting on them to drop, went to JD, spent £85 (thats rite people, like $160) and they SUCKED.
The air was sick and they were comfortable, they improved my vertical by about 4-5 inches, but after about 10 games playing about 25-30 minutes a game, the velcro DIED on me. Re applying the straps after every play got so annoying. and the sole got hella slippy too. And being a point guard who relied mainly on a quick first step and direction changes, i got rid of them for a pair of Wade 1.3’s and now play in the Nike Zoom off Nike I.D which i swear buy. dude LEAVE THOSE LEBRONS IN THE CLOSET.
oh and these 6 rings are a bad rehash. Poor form Nike, poor form.

Coop says:
haha yeah I know what you mean in terms of build quality; I have worn mine about 4 times and the lace loops went early on. Wasn’t ideal.
I do like the design of them, however.

Setup Man says:
how much??
October 7th, 2008 at 2:59 pm
Coop says:
I believe I paid roughly 90 pounds inc the p+p. As I said, it was more a love of the design. The shoes I’ve played most in are some cheap old and1 tai chi lows haha.
