XX Bonded HoodieIt seems lately you guys have been pretty standoffish in regards to the kicks and gear I have been posting on the site. Usually I can count on a few of you guys to share my sense of fashion to back me up. But lately it’s been rough. Shouts out to my boy Coop who makes it a point to shut me down on the regular, lol.
So, in my attempt to salvage some sort of credibility with you haters I present, what I think you guys will dig, the Jordan Brand XX Bonded Hoodie. Inspired after the Jordan XX, which featured the trendy laser print that outlined MJ’s life and career, the XX Bonded Hoodie is a hot piece to have for the upcoming fall season.
I wasn’t a huge fan of those all-over print hoodies that everyone was rocking for like two years (think BAPE), but I am a hoodie fanatic and this one I would definitely wear. The black with hints of red and green remind me of something Gucci would create, but Jordan Brand is a luxury sneaker brand anyway so roll with it.
Laser Print…En FuegoThe aforementioned laser print is featured on the hoodie and it isn’t too overpowering. I dig how it drapes over the chest and covers the hood. The designers over at Brand Jordan did their thing on this one. Hats off to them.
The Jordan Bran XX Bonded Hoodie is available later this month. Hit up www.jumpman23.com for more info.

now THERE’s a nice selection, man….I like how the design is understated and doesn’t take over the entire joint. I would definitely rock this.

Not hate coming from this end. I typically like the items posted and go on a search. I’m a Casual/Euro/Hip-Hop/Business styled dude… (Button downs (untucked of course), ties, jeans, cusual kicks, and thorough hat type)… I have also been on a search for flier accessories. I’m currently looking for the best bluetooth enabled watch, so I don’t have to pull my phone out to see who’s calling and I’ve been looking at the next level watched out of Tokyo that are tight as hell…
Keep bring the flavor…

Eh…I am not a fan of screenprinted iconic designs and patterns on hoodies as they tend to fade or fall off with the wash and dry cleaning expenses can add up. I prefer sowed in logos that can take a wash without fading.
The hoodie looks cool, but how long do we have to suffer these weird iconic designs inspired by things that inspired someone else? Honestly, I am disenfranchesed with this look by the Jordan Brand. I thought it was a fade, but apparently it is here to stay.
I think the only design/patterns that made sense were the designs on USA Olympics jerseys and outfits as they had meaning to me as an American - the designs were patriotic.
I wouldn’t buy this hoodie and I would search or ask for the gift receipt with it.
Sorry Christian. =(

I news that is acutally about basketball (sorry Dime, but if I wanted to discuss fashion like a teenage girl I would be reading GQ–I come to Dime for NBA talk), Shaun Livingston has signed with Miami.
If this works out, they may have just solved their PG question. If…

CGF,
I actually quite like that haha. Goal!
I mean, obviously it’s only to be worn when playing sport (please tell me it’s not a club thing!) but yeah that’s not bad in my opinion.

Coop says:
haha exactly Ian. It’s just an anglo/american culture gap. I, like you, would never wear sports gear (or anything that casual) out and about, much less anywhere near a club or bar.
I do, however, think my man Christian is getting a feel for what we like haha. For me, sports clothing is usually more acceptable over here than the shoes (unless it’s a jersey in which case forget it)

lol jerseys are the worst i cant believe how grown men wear them and those football jerseys to go everywhere. the people that wear jerseys here (not original of course) usually sell mangos on the street.
now coop i dont do sneakers but i do wear more slip ons than shoes to go out unless its friday or saturday.
