Why, oh why is Miami trying to run a half-court offense? With a nucleus of Wade, Marion and Beasley, they should be running the opposition off the floor!

A run and gun system will probably reduce Wade's turnovers too, cuz he's such a killer in transition, and he wont have to have the pressure of creating for his teammates all the time in half-court situations.

And Jamal Tinsley will be a disaster in Miami. After all that he's done in INDIANA, what to do you think will happen once he lands on South Beach?

I really don't see a problem with kepping Matrix but my solution if he has to go is
Matrix and Blount to Indy Marquis Daniels Rasho and Jamaal Tinsley come to the Heat.
or (and this one is kind of a long shot)
Matrix and Blount to Chicago for Gooden BG and Kirk

Trading Marion to the Bulls for Hinrich with a bonus piece thrown in (I'd love to see Ben Gordon thrown in there somehow, but I'm not sure if the Heat have an equatable piece) would be great for both teams.

The Bulls would get that inside presence they've needed for years, the Heat would get their PG, and that log-jammed backcourt of the Bulls would finally be cleared out. Sefalosha has the potential to be a great player as does Rose, so losing Hinrich wouldn't hurt as much as you'd think. On the Heat's side Wade could finally focus his attention on getting buckets and I think we'd all see a resurgence from both teams after last seasons let downs.

@celts,

i think you do if that were the case. you get younger and you address what you NEED. sometimes ppl dont think about trades in terms of what a team may need in contrast to who a player is. miami really doesnt need shawn. thats the real part about it. he could play there, but at what point do you have 2 guys doing the exact same thing on the floor?? miami has some time to pull the trigger, but they might wanna hurry up.

and if it gets that bad, memphis will trade away a young, talented pg for a bag of chex mix....seein as how they always get hustled anyway...

I gotta say I would love to see Marion for Odom trade go down. Hell, you can even through in Colby to make the salaries work!

I think if the Heat were to make a move, here are the decent options:

Marion to Portland for LaMarcus Alderidge and Steve Blake
-PORTLAND finally gets a savvy veteran who's still hungry
-Miami has Blake come home with Alderidge filling the whole in the middle

Marion to Memphis for Mike Conley and Marc Gasol
-Memphis gets a high flier that'll be off the books next season
-Miami fills its wholes

Marion to Chicago for Heinrich and Tyrus Thomas
-Chicago unclogs its backcourt
-Riley's had a boner for Heinrich forever

You're looking at Gooden and Hinrich most likely, plus $17M off the books. Maybe even Noah. I think the Bulls are way to hyped on the Ty kool-aid to let him go.
