I’ve been engaged in taxes for lengthier then I care to admit, both on the individualized side (all my working life!!) and from a legal standpoint since satisfying the bar and pursuing tax law. I’ve supplied a lot of advice and righted a lot of wrongs, and I must say that what you’ve posted makes complete sense. Please continue the good work – the more individuals know the better they’ll be equipped to cope with the tax man, and that’s what it’s all about.

glad to see we’re all invested in this political process. in my opinion, an honest politician is an oxymoron. one must pick the lesser of two evils. do your research and go with the one who stands most for what you believe in. i can get with mccain on some of his points as i can with obama. at the end of the day, the person who’s views & plans line up most with what i hold dear will be the one i vote for. here’s to an historic election!

Well, technically, this article is still about hoops. It’s not like they got a random Palin story from CNN and posted it here to ‘inform America’s youth’. It’s involves missing a free throw, and last time I check, free throws are part of basketball.

as for taxes being raised, if you believe your only taxes are you income tax, then you are not intouch with the real world. you pay taxes every day on everything. tarriffs on impors, fuel taxes, food, that shirt your wearing (unless you made it yourself) hell look at beer, that tax will go up, its called a “luxury tax”. when your employer has to pay more taxes on your payroll (assuming you have a job) income tax is the only tax obama ever speaks of, he doesnt tell you about all the other taxes he has already lobied to raise (like the fuel tax)

think about this for a second, when obama 1st proposed his tax plans, he had the tax increases going to those who make 5 million or more, then the “rich” number dropped to 1 million, then it dropped to 500k, now the “rich number” is 250k combined. how much lower is it going to go?

Obama will not raise taxes on you unless you make over 200,000$ a year. Judging by the way some of you spell, I doubt you’re even close. Bill Maher said he’s cool with paying more, its pocket change to them, so middle class citizens shouldn’t give a shit and should stop listening to McCain. Yea, lets vote McCain so more of our tax dollars get thrown at a pointless war that our boys continue to die in, and thousand civilians continue to suffer for, yay. People Really focusing on Obamas Tax plan like McCain is not gonna tax people. regardless who u pick, ur gonna get taxed. Most people feel the the trickle down effect that helps large businesses has had a chance with Bush and now its time for a new direction.
