Stephen Jackson Is “Ready For GQ”
Ready for GQ?While David Stern often looks to Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Chris Paul as the faces of the League, he should realize that some guys are putting in more work than just jump shots in the off-season. Turns out Stephen Jackson, renowned for his Michael Strahan-esque gap, is rockin’ a new grill this season.
Gone is the gap-toothed Jackson. He’s been replaced by a guy with “that Colgate smile.” Jackson’s upper teeth are now all veneers, and you can tell he’s feeling pretty good about his new look.
“I’m ready for GQ,” he said after practice last week.
Jackson’s mouth got “jacked-up” in October 2006 after he was hit in the mouth and struck by a car that sent him tumbling onto the hood outside the Club Rio strip club in Indianapolis.
“My mouth was all jacked-up,” Jackson said. “I had six teeth broken. I had to have plastic surgery.”
