Morrison never impressed me coming out of college. he sucked as a defender, he was an average ball handler at best still couldnt create his own shot. he was a volume shooter which meant it was goin up regardless of if it was a good or bad shot. he never even looked like he worked on his game. great players diverify their games..he went for attempts over %...i can at least say the Redick had a better shot selection and he was a little more athletic than Morrison...cut ya hair and mustache, get ya ass in the weight room and start working on your game

Becoming a spot up shooter like Korver as the #3 pick in the draft isn't exactly living up to expectations. But that might be the only way he finds a niche in the L.

@ Smity & Brandon:

Andrew Gaze is one of Australia's best basketball players, if not the best. He won multiple rings in the Australian league with the Melbourne tigers and represented Australia in the Olympics several times.

Great shooter, high bball IQ, amazing austrailan and international career.

He rode the bench with the spurs on one of their title runs late in his career. He would have been the backup SG but they signed steve kerr who took his spot (from memory) and that buried him deep in the rotation.

Gaze? Austin I'm impressed.

For those that don't know (and what wikipedia or google won't tell you) Andrew Gaze is a LEGEND. Give you 40 easy, wouldn't even break a sweat.

Ya'll need to pay more attention to Australian hoops. People are balling down there. The league itself sucks ass though. No finances. No TV/Marketing. But guys get busy in that league.

He didn't impress me all that much in college. I didn't get a sense when he was drafted that he'd do much in the league either. I'm still waiting for him to do something, but to be fair, he hasn't played enough for me to tell what he can contribute as an NBA player.

I agree with post #34 though. He should be able to at least get some backup minutes somewhere. I don't think my Warriors and Raptors need a player like him though, they're good for shooters who don't play defense.

If Kyle Korver and Jason Kapono can get regular minutes, Morrison should be able to do the same if he can get his shot right again.
